Harry Potter

Do you remember in the fifth movie how Snape teaches Harry Occlumency but stops after Harry uses his wand and sees Snape's memories? 

Well, for the longest time I thought when Harry cast that spell he was saying "Potato". Thats what I heard, I had to look in the book to realize he was saying "Protego". Boy, do I feel like an idiot...

It's not even about Drarry. I just thought that J.K. Rowling would make more of that rejected handshake in the end... Just like "I open at the close", you know?

Not criticising her acting performance at all - she did a great job. But every other character just looks exactly as I imagined them...

My best friend from college just got a tumblr.

She saw how almost all of my tumblr was full of harry potter stuff.

I thought she would be annoyed...

But she admitted that she wouldn't mind watching it one of these days on account of her never watching them...

I don't care if she's starting off my just watching the movies...this is a start.

Eventually she will learn the true magic behind this all.

And I am even happier that I was able to spread the magic to another person..

Also, my ten year old brother just asked me if I could buy him the first book for him for Christmas.

In a one week time period I have opened two more people to the magic of Harry Potter.

I couldn't be more excited.
