Hi there. I see you're also Hartwin trash. I'm here to ask some advice. I'm writing a Divergent AU for Kingsman (not done nor posted), but I'm really anxious about other people getting it posted first. How do I post my work without other people claiming that I stole their idea? If you can't answer that's alright. Maybe you could pass this on to a few guys who can help. And maybe keep this ask as proof? I really worry about this, and if you could answer privately I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

so my usual solution in this situation is to like write fast (but obviously not everybody has time to do all that in one sitting), and yeah. i guess the tricky thing i that we all kind of have the potential to get similar ideas, so it may seem like somebody is copying you or stealing your thunder without intending to. and yeah, really my advice just goes back to ‘you do you’ like try not to focus on the fact that other people might get a similar idea and write your thing, cause even if like your basis is similar your own story is going to be different from theirs because you wrote it... so yeah?

i’m bad at this advice thing sorry...
