Singapore - 5 volunteers helped to clean up the preschool environment for socially and financially disadvantaged kids. @haveahartdaysg
Boston, Massachusetts - 7 volunteers crushed boxes, weighed food, and packed frozen meat for at total of 19, 500 lbs of food processed @haveahartdayboston
Seattle, Washington - 3 volunteers who package 6,200 pounds of peas, or the equivalent of 4,769 meals @haveahartdayseattle
Washington DC - Our 4 spectacular volunteers sorted and boxed 10 pallets of food at the DC Capital Area Food Bank. @have-a-hart-day-dc
São Paolo - 9 volunteers and we worked at a Festa Junina (a typical Brazilian feast), running some stalls with other volunteers from Liga Solidária - a non-profit organization that helps 10k people every month, through 10 different projects. @haveahartdaysaopaulo
Atlanta, Georgia - 1 volunteer sorted a pallet of books, or a bit less @hahdatlanta
Dallas, Texas -6 volunteers salvaged and sorted donated food totaling to: 8197 meals, 9836 pounds, 16 containers. @have-a-hart-day-dallas
San Francisco, California - 4 volunteers helped repack 3,000 lbs. of plums and 600 lbs of rice.
Toronto, Ontario - We had 25 volunteers work for about 3 hours to assemble 214 "purses" (which includes gender-neutral bags as well) filled with donated personal hygiene items (shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, lotion, etc.) that were distributed to 5 shelters in Toronto. We also assembled over 200 "period packs" which The Period Purse distributes to support women on a monthly basis! @have-a-hart-toronto
London, England - One volunteer came to the FareShare Deptford warehouse and helped in picking up orders for 4 vans which will go to about 35 charities that FareShare is feeding. We helped in preparing the orders for Monday morning, sorted several pallets of food and carried out care and maintenance of the warehouse.FareShare is a charity that tackles food waste by collecting surplus food and redistributing it to people who need it. @haveahartdaylondon
Lansing, Michigan - 8 volunteers helped run an ice cream social for the residents of Burcham Hills Retirement Center. @haveahartdaylansing
Bergen County, New Jersey - 2 volunteers packaged boxes of various sorted food and drinks to be distributed to local food banks
South Bend, Indiana - 3 volunteers packaged 167 school lunches for local elementary schools. And we helped keep the shelves stocked in the food pantry for over 140 households to come and receive food for the evening.
