as much as he'd love to accept the offer, he didn't feel right doing so when the source of pain is staring right at him. again and again, they find themselves in a circle of hell, haru unable to help the gravitational pull of his feelings towards her. and it doesn't seem like they're any closer to an answer to their troubles no matter how many times they have the conversation. for them, it'll always be right person, wrong time and it kills him at every opportunity. but he doesn't dare show her, not really, not to the extent that he maybe should. instead, he smiles and reaches out to rest a hand atop hers, shaking his head in his usual manner in the hopes of dispelling her worries. ❝ you have enough to think about. i promise i'm okay. i think i'm just getting sick, that's all. i'll text you if i need medicine, alright? ❞ // @fadinglights
