raised in wano in the kuri region on one of the largest farms, in charge of supplying a third of kuri and half of hakumai. during festival seasons, they provide alcohol, tea, and their share of fireworks for the festivities. their booth often offers tea ware and specialty blends.
haru left wano as a teenager in search of his best friend who was kidnapped from the port of hakumai during an attempted infiltration. ( more on this tba )
throughout his journey, he becomes a bounty hunter to care for his needs.
eventually, he learns that kaidou has taken over his homeland and journeys back to find it in ruins. he chooses to stay and take back the land, but attempts to gather information from the capital. there, he's "captured" by denjiro, who after earning his trust, fills him in on the situation at hand.
he also allies with ashura, stealing from paradise farms to supply his family and their village by night. however, in order to maintain his cover, he pretends to have turned his back on the people of wano during the day.
post-onigashima battle, he stays in wano to rebuild but will potentially return to sea.
possible in-world connections ... very open to other bounty hunters/groups, pirates, canon and oc alike. particularly interested in writing with figures important in the wano arc: akazaya nine, kaidou, kozuki family, yamato, etc.
