Haru!
A genuinely kind-hearted know-it-all enthusiastically campaigning for the title of mother of the group.
Not only incredibly smart with a near-encylopaedic memory, he is both grounded enough and flexible enough to keep himself and Hajime level, and all the rest of his ducklings in a row.
An unserious and charming nerd who can't resist teasing Hajime (even if he gets walloped for it every time).
I am so glad the writers skipped over most of the "smart guy" stereotypes and gave him such an interesting and three-dimensional character.
I dearly wish I could handle the craziness of my life with half the aplomb Haru does.
