ACKEE, SALTFISH & DUMPLINGS A CUSTOM HOMESTYLE RECIPE & HARVESTABLE FRUIT

Ackee & saltfish is a Jamaican dish, usually prepared for breakfast but appropriate all day around if you like, traditionally it's made with ackee fruit, seasoning and scotch bonnet peppers for a full and satisfying flavour, fantastic for a morning or pick me up in the middle of the day. Whenever they're eating, your sims will love it.

Default Replacement Harvestable Tree HOTFIX

Previously my DR Tree mod had some issues about it disappearing at a distance leaving behind weird floating fruits.

This update has the following changes:

The disappearing issue was because its MLOD wasn’t being properly detected, and despite my efforts to pull through various mesh glitches and UV map errors, I decided to remove the MLOD entirely and make it so that the high-resolution mesh is visible at all levels of detail. 

These trees have 1533 vertices and 1722 faces. If this worries you in terms of whether your world can handle it when you have waaaay too many trees on one lot, I wouldn’t suggest getting this in that case.

I’ve added mipmaps to the textures so they won’t be staticky and pixelated at a distance.

Mesh edited to be wider and rotated so that fewer fruits appear to “float”. There are still some fruits that DO still float, but these are again removable using moveobjects if they really bother you.

Feel free to test it out and tell me if there are any other problems you might find.

Thanks to all the people who helped find the initial bugs! Sorry if I wasn’t able to reply right away (or at all), life got in the way. Still, I appreciate everything all the same.

This plant marks the beginning for a new feature of some of my plants: A custom buff when you eat the produce.

I will slowly be getting updates to all of my plants out for you guys. Things you don't eat will not have a buff. They are still getting updated so the new infant plant interaction will be added to them.

Happy Halloween season simmers! This year I bring you the Spider Nest Harvestable. The twigs of this plant need weeded and watered just like any other plant, but instead of fruit or veggies, tasty, crunchy spiders will populate this plant. Enjoy!

I bring you the second tree harvestable that produces wood, the Maple Tree. This functions similar to my Red Oak Tree, but has more features. It produces wood, and it produces Buckets of Maple Syrup. Make sure to read the info I've included on the download page for this tree.
