Making Progress with Your Help
Fundraising for new kitchen & retail space
All our generous supporters have made good headway toward this aspirational fundraising goal. But there's still a ways to go!
Your donation will be used to:
Offer additional programming
Harvest Kitchen trainees are youth ages 16-20 from DCYF's Juvenile Corrections Services and those aging out of the foster care system.
Cover moving expenses
The kitchen crew is excited to move into the new space—on the corner of Main St & Bayley St in Pawtucket—later this summer!
Outfit the kitchen & the trainees
The trainees need critical cooking supplies like pots, pans, bowls and utensils. And aprons/uniforms will help trainees and their customers take pride in this exciting undertaking!
Equip the retail & event areas
Pawtucket Central Falls Development has transformed the space beautifully. Now it needs things like shelves, displays, signs and menus.
Purchase tableware/flatware
The new retail space will offer the community fresh, tasty food for dine in and/or take out.
Provide building materials for tables
The young people at Youthbuild Providence are building tables for the retail space as their summer project! Some materials have been donated, but more are needed.
Enable learning through multimedia
With a projector and screen, educational videos can accompany cooking demos, and the event space can host community movie nights!
