I'm going to say two things on this matter:

DM me for my Discord if you want to stay in touch. I'm not gonna delete my account or anything, but if this update kills the site, I basically only use Discord, and I'm tired of hopping from one site to another trying to find one that isn't complete crap. If Tumblr goes down, I'm done with social media.

When you send in feedback to Tumblr Support, make sure you go to your email and reply to the confirmation email they send you. That makes sure it gets to a real person. Stay polite. The support staff didn't make this update, and they don't deserve any abuse from the userbase. Be kind, and just reply to the email to ask them to forward your feedback to the engineering team. You can reference that the Changes post has replies turned off, and you want to ensure your feedback gets to the appropriate team, but do so politely. I am just as angry as the rest of you, but don't take it out on the support team.

writing feels like a chore now

i’m not saying this to scare anyone or that i’m leaving or anything but i can’t bring myself to find a job or do anything else except sit in my room and watch videos and read or something :/ i can’t bring myself to do anything worthwhile so i throw myself into other media.

i get scared looking at the last two requests in my inbox (because i honestly have no motivation to write and whether i can produce something decent) as well as the other ones of people asking me whether i’m doing okay (thank you for asking btw) but it could be because my excitement in nct has waned and my jjk work not getting as much attention as i would’ve liked. it’s nothing personal! i love everyone here and it has been a crazy journey here but i think i’m going to take a break.

i can’t say for how long and i can’t say i’ll return but i’ll still be here reading stuff, just mostly lurking. i’ll try my best to finish the last two requests and do my best. but beyond that i can’t get past staring at a blank document lol. ofc you can still send asks and i’ll answer to just talk if anyone wants!

i’ll be back! just not now. i need something to inspire me again, but it won’t come quick.

idk if it will do anything but I made a save right before going in to talk to Corbeau thinking oh I can probably only hold ¥999,999 and the debt is ¥1,000,000 so there’s nothing I can do right?

As soon as Corbeau was like “I’ll leave the original balance between Taunie and I, you two can just pay me the interest, but I’m sure you can’t pay it today” I went back to my save and am now doing the Z-A Royale every night to save up money until I have maxed it out so that I can show up like “actually I can afford it”

Do I think it will make a difference? No. Am I going to try anyway? Yes.

I have a little over ¥500,000 rn so we are more than halfway there! And this will also give me time to work on the battle x trainers research tasks because I’m a little under 200 battles into what I know is a total of 1000 needed to get the shiny charm 🫠

If this accomplishes exactly nothing for me at least I can immediately go buy a bunch of mega stones afterwards like having maxed out money is not a *bad* thing.

Bad news: the blood they took on Monday is fine for most of the new tests, but I gotta go for a fourth blood draw in three weeks on Saturday for a couple of the new tests 🫠 at this rate I’m gonna run out of blood
