Good afternoon Ms. Soule, Mr. Harris,

I’d like to congratulate you both on your approaching graduation and your reaching the end of what I’m sure has been a roller coaster ride these past four years of your lives. 

During your graduation trip, Professor Grey and I confirmed the academic standing of yourselves and your peers as of today, and as it stands, the two of you hold the highest grade point averages in your class. Again, I would like to extend my congratulations for this. Megan, you are this year’s valedictorian and Cole, you are saltutatorian. You will be given an honors stole with your cap and gown on Monday.

Per ceremony customs, the two of you are asked to give a speech to your peers. Our college graduates, while few in numbers, will also have the opportunity to give valedictorian and salutatorian’s speeches. This is entirely optional for the both of you so please do not feel it mandatory. 

I hope to hear back from the both of you this weekend with your answers. Should you choose to give a speech, Professor Grey would like to hear it recited by you on Wednesday after school.

I’m sorry that I’m just now responding. I’m not in the habit of checking my school email regularly. Thank you very for the information and honors, Professor it was extremely welcomed. My reason for writing to you, first, was to let you know that we are mailing two copies of next month's issue of Socialite Life to your parent's home--one for you and one for your mom. She told me before that you're living in NY now and I'd asked about sending it to you there but her call was Florida. The teaser pix I first sent you didn't make the editor's cut but most of the ones I emailed to you the other week did. You look great!

Second, I wanted to know if I'd be seeing you at NY Fashion Week with your mom next month. One of our longtime interns is shadowing me for the event and I thought it would be great to set aside time to get photos of you and your mom.
