“After their twelfth-grade national exam, students from disadvantaged backgrounds are usually unprepared to tackle the next stages of their lives, especially in their choice of careers — and this is made worse in the face technology and the internet. Additionally, these students are ill-equipped to understand social issues and to make informed civic decisions. This makes for poor readiness for the job market, a factor that exacerbates unemployment, which is already a big problem in Africa. In our holiday programs, we take students into the world as a laboratory to learn. Teenternship Program plunges students into the day-to-day professional life of a career they desire to pursue. “
