Truthfully, it actually also stemmed from the What if Hatakes had tails lke Goku and the Saiyans in Dragon Ball and they can turn to large spirit werewolves that howls for the full moon. Tying in the Rabbit Goddess is Kakashis mom au, or the Hatake are more Spiritual bound clan with their summons and their canine imstincts and characteristics affected by nature chakra and the appearance of white chakra unlike the inuzuka who are physically bonded with their dogs and went through generational changes making jutsus. Passive vs active or so n.

Where Hatake are the dogs directly bounded to the village, domesticated as they are vs Inuzuka bond with where they are partnered with dogs.

And a part of how alone kakashi is within konoha is because of how he was domesticated for the purpose of duty within the perimeters of being a konoha shinobi and to ensure the safety and loyalty of what is basically a spirit within the human world in service of konoha.

A summoning contract basically. Or in selkie terms, a marriage where you are bound to a place without the ability to return or go between the two worlds.

Headcannons about being kakashi's daughter??

Holy crap this is long. Thank you for the request. I have done something similar to this before but I’ll tried my best to make it different.

Headcannons of being Kakashi’s daughter

Depending on the personality of the mother, Kakashi can have a very stoic child or a energetic one. It be kind of cool if his daughter had some of his father’s personality traits. Like a kind heart, humble character. Something to remind Kakashi of the good things his father taught him.

Kakashi’s daughter will probably think her father is uncool like most children think of their parents. Any jokes or excuses Kakashi tries to make for being late, his daughter will roll her eyes too.

Kakashi’s daughter will spend a lot of time around Kakashi’s ninkin while growing up. Kakashi would have introduced his daughter to the dogs at a very early age and his daughter will most likely grow a fond attachment for them. The older she gets though, she’ll think it was strange how not every dog talks like the ninkin do. 

Kakashi’s daughter might even want a ninkin or a dog of her own to train. I can see Kakashi begrudgingly allowing her to get one at age ten if she persistently begs for one. Kakashi would only be reluctant because he already has plenty of ninkin to look after and he doesn’t need to take on another one. He’ll allow her to get one if he believes she fully understands that she’ll be responsible for training and taking care of her dog. 

While his daughter is growing up, she’ll probably hear stories about her father being a great ninja. It might make her strive to be a great ninja too, but Kakashi wouldn’t push his daughter to become a ninja unless she wanted to. He’ll support her either way but he honestly doesn’t want his child to see the things he has seen as a shinobi. 

While growing up, Kakashi wouldn’t offer much information about his past or about his missions to his child. It would be hard for Kakashi’s daughter to get a full understanding of her father because he wouldn’t open up about topics like that. If he does, it will be vague answers because he does not want to taint her innocence with his bloody past.

Whether or not Kakashi’s daughter wants to be a ninja, Kakashi would still teach them the basics of self-defense in either case. He wants his daughter to be strong and capable. 

There might also be high expectations from people around the Village after hearing the last name Hatake. Most people will assume the daughter will be as cunning and talented as Kakashi is. Kakashi’s daughter might live up to or disappoint those expectations.

Kakashi is very lax as a parent and wouldn’t hover over his daughter as she grows up. Kakashi always talks calmly with his daughter and won’t raise his voice unless it is a life or death situation. I think Kakashi’s daughter would grow up confident and would probably find her dad uncool. She would be resourceful and would learn to think outside of the box because of her father.

Headcanons for being Kakashi's younger sister?

Your childhood might be a bit dull if Kakashi isyour older brother, because he was a bit snotty and ninja-oriented as a child. Ifyou have an outgoing and spontaneous personality, you might have annoyedKakashi when he was younger if you insisted on playing with him all the time.Kakashi is more interested in improving his skills and learning from Sakumothan he is interested in playing with you.

Kakashi would help you learn self-defense if youwere his younger sister. He would want to make sure you taijutsu skills were upto par with his, because he thinks it’s a necessity in life, even at a youngage. Sakumo would enjoy seeing Kakashi try to train you and think it is sweetwhen he is patient with you. Kakashi would even let you think you could beathim a few times in a match to boost your confidence as a kid.

Sakumo would be glad Kakashi had a sister inorder to help Kakashi lighten up as a child. Kakashi tends to forget to havefun and if his sister is spunky, she can help Kakashi see there’s more to lifethan just being a ninja.

When Sakumo dies, its hard on both Kakashi andyou. Kakashi becomes a real stickler for the ninja rules that your father didnot follow. You might have a difference of opinion, but that doesn’t matter toKakashi as he knows he has to take care of you now. Kakashi wouldn’t lean onyou for moral support, because he doesn’t want to burden you and he wouldbecome a bit more solemn in his everyday life.

After Kakashi loses his team, he would try toshut out everyone closest to him in order not to feel, but you as his sisterwould be harder for him to do that to. You would be the only one he would visitand check up on every day. He might not have many words to say but he does caredeeply for you. He wants to protect the last person that means everything tohim.

Later on in life, you can expect some teasingfrom Kakashi and spontaneous visits to try to scare you or scare whoever you’rewith. He will look into anyone you try to date in the Village and might even tryto intimidate them when he first meets them. You two would grow to have a lightand teasing relationship as Kakashi learns to let people in again and learns toforgive himself.

I believe the Hatake clan is notoriously known forfarming or agriculture and Sakumo was one of the few wanting to be a ninja. Now,everyone associates the Hatake clan with Sakumo’s reputation which can be hard toshake. You are either seen as a massive adversary or seen as a coward that can’tget the job done.

Typically silver hair runs in the family, but it’snot a dominant gene. Their sunken dark eyes however, are dominant and are aprominent trait within the clan.

Most Hatake’s don’t possess the ability to wieldor control chakra but the ones that do, mostly have lightening style chakra.Even fewer can learn how to use different styles of chakra.

Hatake’s marry for love or in mutual agreement.The parents may pick out someone for their child but their child doesn’t have tomarry that person if they find someone they actually love.

Headcanons for being Sakumo Hatake's student??

Thank you for the request. I had a fun time thinking about what it would be like to work under this ninja back in a time when success of the mission was more important than your teammates.  Headcannons of beinga student of Sakumo Hatake

Sakumo would encourage teamwork and collaborationwithin his team. He would want his team to understand each other’s strengths andweaknesses that way they can help cover each other’s weaknesses in battle. Hewould like to have everyone give their opinion on what they should do for themission in order for them to discuss all their options.

Sakumo would also stress never judging a book byits cover. He would help them identify the signs of when someone is indistress, depressed, or angry. He would inform his team never to underestimatetheir opponent and to never let their defense slacken during battle.

He would teach that it’s important to protectand fight for the ones you love and not for your own gain, because that is whenyou will start to lose sight of yourself. He would tell his students that asuccessful mission isn’t worth the sacrifice of their lives.

If Sakumo got compliments from his studentsabout how great he is, he would appreciate them but turn around and would say somethinglike “a teacher is only as great as his student are”. It would be profound andmake his students feel good about themselves.

Sakumo would invest in his team of genin.  He would know all their parents and know eachof their family situations in order to better understand them and to relate tothem. He would make sure that what they are training for is what they want todo and not because it’s part of their family heritage.
