You clung to Kakashi's sleeve like it was a lifeline, your fingers curled tightly in the fabric as if letting go meant he'd vanish. He moved around the apartment in his usual unhurried pace, and you shuffled after him like a shadow, never more than a step behind.

Kakashi sighed softly, not in annoyance, but amusement. He adjusted his steps, slower and a little wider so you wouldn’t trip. “You’re awfully attached this morning,” he murmured, glancing down at you with that lazy, half-lidded gaze—and the smallest of smirks tugging at his masked lips.

You pouted. “Huh? More like every day.”

Ever since your wedding, you'd stuck to him like glue. Especially in the mornings. Especially when you knew he had a mission coming up. You always knew. Even before he told you.

He didn’t pull away, didn’t even blink at your neediness. He never did. If anything, he leaned into it. He reached up with his free hand and opened the cabinet, grabbing one of your favorite mugs, the one with the faint crack on the handle he still insisted on using for you.

You tightened your grip on his sleeve as he poured hot water into the mug, dropping in the tea sachet you liked.

“Kakashi…”

“I know,” he said softly. “I’ll be careful.”

You buried your face against his arm, and he let you clang. The warmth of his presence, his calm, steady rhythm, it made it harder to let him go, even for a day.

The village was missing out on it for real. Well those who lived long enough to know what it means for a tail to be intact sure remember though and its a blessing and a curse for sure. For now have this imagine of what happy kakashi is like and a happy hard wagging tail that hits like a bat.

Yamanaka clan courting rituals:

Ino went with Sai to the Yamanaka ancestral home in the mountains. They still maintain there even after migrating to Konoha.

Ino wants Sai to watch her dance this courting ritual because that is how much she loves him and wants to spend the rest of her life with him.

Sai...really likes the wind. Like, the sound of it, the feeling of it, the smell of it. Whenever he gets overstimulated/close to a meltdown, if for some reason he can’t repress it OR it’s far enough in the timeline that he doesn’t try to (we can dream) he climbs to the top of the tallest tree he can see and just. Be in the wind for a while. His hair is full of knots and he hates brushing it so he doesn’t until Ino threatens to cut it.

Absolutely!

Iruka - The OG Dad

Personally, I don't think Iruka would be the type to sleep with someone unless he felt that they would be a good parent if they did have an "oops" pregnancy so he's actually kind of chill when you tell him. I feel like he'd be a really good support person as you process it & respect any decison you would make. But 100% would ask you to marry him because of the baby.

Kakashi - The 'I guess we're doing this now' Dad

He takes the news in stride. (I mean, he's been raw dogging you for months, it was bound to happen at some point lmao) However, I also feel like he's going to want to really sit down and discuss the future, his fears about fatherhood, wether it's the responsible decision to raise a baby given the work you both do as shinobi, etc. If the relationship didn't work out, you guys would be great co-parents.

Naruto - The *Panic Excited* Dad

Literally the human embodiment of the 'could we be purganent' memes. At first he's in disbelief, then denial, then panic. Eventually it's replaced with an overwhelming mixture of happiness and worry. He literally already has names, outfits & a nursey theme in his head. Would most definetly want to marry you, very obsessed with the idea of a 'whole' family.

Shikamaru - The 'Overthinking' Dad

I hate saying it but honestly I don’t think he’d be on board at first. It’s not that he doesn’t want a child I just think he would definitely have a lot of doubts about being a dad & wouldn’t have any faith in himself. He’s very open with you about how he’s feeling the first few weeks after you find out. I think at some point he would see a dad out and about holding a baby or walking with a toddler & it would just click for him. If it’s a boy the baby would definitely be named after Asuma in some way :,)
