The door is always locked.
Hatch-6 has seen Cheonhyeol walk in and out of this place a total of three times, looking more and more frustrated each time. He would unlock the door before entering, lock it from the inside, then unlock it again to leave before locking it a final time as he walked away.
The door is in the process of being unlocked.
Hatch carefully manipulates the tumblers using the stiff wires and needle they managed to swipe off of an engineer's tool box. They've beeing mostly just fumbling with it for the first few minutes, but they're now making progress.
As you can tell my OCs are the worst
