Inimicual attraction
[PT: Inimicual attraction]
{'Inimicu' from inimicus, meaning enemy in latin, '-ual' suffix to turn the noun inimicus into a adjective, taken from sex-ual, sens-ual, etc}
A tertiary attraction based in hatred, rivalry, betterment, and/or competition.
This is by no means a ‘friendly’ kind of attraction, but it usually does have a basis of respecting the object of attraction (even if it’s not acknowledged), and can be formed due to a want (or perceived need) to be better than them.
It differs from rivaline attraction due to its unfriendliness and a lack of a playful/teasing aspect, as well as a larger focus on competitiveness.
This attraction type can occasionally overlap with romantic, sexual or sensual attraction (and other similar attraction types) but rarely overlaps with platonic attraction
