Isn't it telling that in Sam and Dean's heavens there was no John Winchester? Isn't it an indication that when Dean was under the influence of the djinn, his wish/vision was a life without hunting but John Winchester was still dead? Isn't it just a little bit fucking pointed that Mary's internal space where all the "good" parts of her are being kept docile and suppressed is a home with her sons and a husband that's always as work??? None of the happy places of the Winchester family can ever contain John.
