Damn! seems we gotta set some things straight.

LOTS of hate on the internet for game that hasn't released yet.

Now I've had the good fortune to play the demo and what Duke IS, is simply a balls to the wall shooter. They simply don't make them like this any more.

Think Bulletstorm. (another in the same vein)

NOW, I haven't played the full the game and I will hold final judgment until I do. But I find it hard to believe that after 12 years and who knows HOW many hours of play testing AND playing the demo first hand (which gives us a taste of what the game will have) that the game will suck as hard as the web will have you believe.

Shit doesn't make sense. The preliminary ratings are as bad as fucking Soldier of Fortune Payback, and that simply isn't the case. At least in my experience.

My suggestion:

Do what I do, get into a "media black out" mode when you like a game. THEN, either play the demo or buy the game and make up your own fucking mind.
