Simba considered himself as a back-up of his father and since his dad wasn’t here now, he thought it was his task to protect the Pride Lands from intruders. Furthermore, he was motivated because of the events in the Elephant Graveyard and didn’t want to be ashamed again.

“Dad will be here soon and you will run for your life again.”

The ratio of hyena to vulture was quickly evening itself out.

About a score of the large carnivores were hungrily tearing into the carcass of a large bull buffalo. Whether they had brought it down or not, Mzingo was uncertain, but more than likely it had collapsed from starvation or thirst. One thing was certain: the lions had no knowledge of this feast yet, and with Zazu caged and only Mzingo and the hyenas controlling what information was brought to the King, they were likely to stay ignorant for a long while.

There had been more hyenas initially, but when they had eaten their fill they had gone on their way. Mzingo had been the first vulture to know of this kill, he usually was, and when his brothers saw him diving, they came to see what he was diving towards, and other vultures that saw them came to see what they were diving towards, and so on.

For every hyena that left, it was replaced by two vultures, but still there was no room for them at the kill-site. Ordinarily the birds would have barged straight into the fray, squabbling with the mammals over pieces of flesh, but today they sat in a ring around the ring around the buffalo. This courtesy was normally only observed for lions, but there was a new order in the Pridelands now.

Once Mzingo cleared his throat, and when the hyenas took no notice and continued feasting, he cleared his throat again. Nothing. Soon there would be hardly anything for even his vultures to pick at, and his feathery competition was growing larger by the minute.

Grumbling with impatience, he flapped over and landed on top of the buffalo’s hairy back. He was careful where he put his feet: he may be Scar’s new informant, but he was well aware that his status was still below that of any hyena. Still when he addressed Banzai and Ed, the next highest-rankers in Shenzi’s absence, it was the same disdainful scorn with which he usually addressed his parliament. He cleared his throat again.

“Are you quite finished?”

Since Mufasa’s and Simba’s death, things haven’t been the same with Scar ruling. Although he was probably next in line after Simba, it didn’t change the fact that he was still a bad ruler and pretty much were letting the Pride go hungry from hunting more than usual. She definitely had to do something to have everyone fed to keep up their strength, even if she had to do it on her own.

Making sure no one was following her she slipped past the others of Pride Rock without a word, figuring she’d take a different way from the watchful eyes of all the Hyenas. Callula was almost in the clear with getting away from her home when there ended up being at least one of the Hyenas on the path that she was going. Although their back was turned, she was still trying to be quiet as to not be spotted, that’d be the WORST thing to happen.

the designs are great but the show and writing is....terrible...don't do this to yourself, especially all those fart jokes

I think it's still worth the watch but it certainly can be problematic and leaves you wishing there was better writing behind it. Honestly just means there's more opportunity for rpers to improve it.

I absolutly loved it, I really wish they would keep going to atleast give the new charaters just a little bit to be themself but besides that I love it, I wish more people who get into it.
