Do you like your name? Why? I love my name. It’s unique and short and kind of sci-fi.

How would you describe your style? Clean lines, well fitting, and color coordinated within an inch of its life.

Favorite makeup brand(s)? Maybelline. Fit is the best foundation and powder I’ve ever used and lives up to its name, and their gel eyeliner is perfect. Neutrogena is also up there because it’s good for sensitive skin. I think those are actually the only two brands I really use.

What was the last compliment you received? It was from you, nerd. You told me you were proud of me.

1. Who’s the oldest character of yours that you still use?

I created Gold Sun for a roleplay board on CompuServe back in... ‘94, I guess?  That character was a bit different than the current incarnation (designed for a fantasy setting rather than cyberpunk) and mostly started as a play on my friend’s name (she went by Gold Moon), but I’d say that counts well enough.

12.  Do you fantasize about being any of your characters, or are you more detached?

I daydream a lot, so usually I play out stuff in my head that I plan to write.  Or even I just start daydreaming up scenarios and decide that an idea is a good basis for a character.  So yeah, this is something I’m kind of in the habit of doing for getting a character’s personality close to the way I want.

17. Which character is the easiest to draw/write?

I’m probably going to say Veronica and Saavedro.  I don’t really have a ton in common with either of them, but I feel more “in tune” with them than most of my other characters.

19. What’s more important to you: visual design, unique personality, a trendy character aesthetic, etc? If you’re not sure, then what’s the first thing you usually nail down in a character?

I don’t think I’m very consistent when it comes to that sort of thing.  Sometimes I’ll think of an appearance or see a drawing/picture that gives me an idea for a specific aspect of a character’s appearance and I’ll start with that (like with Porter and Gold Sun).  Other times I’ll think about how I want the character to act and come up with the appearance afterward (like for Veronica and The Investigator).  Basically it depends on the specific character, I guess.

ahh thanks. I think a huge part of it is that we’ve been in this apartment for 5 years. and the plan was always for me to work out her a couple years get some experience and then I’d move back home to STL only I don’t think that’s what I want any more. But I don’t know what I do want... other than a little bit of certainty I guess.

Thank you! I was SUPPOSED to table there but couldn't make it (buying a house!) and was curious how it went.

It seems like 90% of my artist friends were there, it was definitely a party in that artist alley :) Sad you couldn’t make it, but closing on a house is way more awesome and exciting!

Guilty Pleasures: He loves cereal with a passion none can truly satisfy. He craves it more than anything you could imagine. (srsly tho he will throw a fit till someone gives him his cheerios)

Phobias: He does have a fear of being alone for extended periods of time. granted for him that’s more like months not days or weeks.

What They Would Be Famous For: Predicting disasters around the world and warning people of them.

What They Would Get Arrested For: Trespassing I’d guess. He is naturally curious.

OC You Ship Them With: Uuuuh, female mothman? I don’t have an OC i ship them with rn.

OC Most Likely To Murder Them: Calthog, not my OC but someone else’s in the RP group i use him in.

Favorite Movie/Book Genre: Utopian sci-fi

Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: Grimdark reboots

Talents and/or Powers: He has a natural instinctive ability to know where mass casualties will happen. His eyes admit radiation from their red light, and he can fly about 30 mph (abit in a clumsy way). His main form of communication as well is, you guessed it, Morse Code.

Why Someone Might Love Them: Dispite his age he’s pretty optimistic and idealistic, so i suppose that.

Why Someone Might Hate Them: He’s known to be a bit theatrical and instinctive. He also can be a bit too poetic in his speech.

How They Change: So far I see him moving away from his instictive nature and also becoming more serious and practical in how he warns people. 

Why You Love Them: A: He’s a mothman and the mothman is an AWESOME urban legend/cryptid B; he’s a radio nerd who talks in Morse Code and follows bright lights i mean that’s adorable. He’s trying his best.
