Wonderland
After she is freed from the castle and placed in a safe house, Hatta (Still Leiella at the time), hits rock bottom. She ends up being saved by the Dormouse. This is how Hatta originally arrives at the White Rabbit Building. She makes her home on the 22nd floor, turning the entire floor into this HUGE open air loft. The hatter makes herself a garden up there near a huge floor to ceiling window. She also has a small hidden area in there for her to hide in. Her office, as well as living quarters, are on the same level. Hatta will entertain friends up there, and she has a small area set up with a table for tea. The only way to get to her floor is by the lift. (In her darker moments, she will handle her more torturous hobbies on the 22nd floor.) The emotions are sold on the floor level of the White Rabbit building, but Hatta keeps the darker emotions upstairs with her, only selling those to specific clients.
Storybrooke
She lives in a small house near the river in the woods. This is a bit of a cruel joke that she swears Cora played on her through Regina. Hatta was terrified of the woods in Wonderland because of the Jaberwocky. (This was before she befriended the man cursed to be the Wocky.) Her house has a garden outback, and it is full of items very precious to her. Most are references to people that she loves and cares for. Over time, she comes to learn the woods like the back of her hand, overcoming her fear of them. The hatter rarely goes completely into town, however, and only very few people know the location of her home. About the only time she is in town is to run her tea shop, and then she returns home.
Land Without Magic
Hatta has a few threads/verses where she decides to live in the land without magic. In most of these, she owns a building where she runs the tea shop downstairs. Often, she will also have a bakery as a part of this. Hatta will live upstairs. She is very cautious about traveling freely in the land without magic, partly due to her anxiety. (As well as being out of reach of the people she considers her protectors.)
Bedroom - All verses
In any verse that she settles down in, her bedroom really becomes her hide away. There are typically taerie lights on the walls. The bed sheets don’t match, and they are a variety of bright and rich colors. There are lots of pillows on the bed. There are photographs, sketches, and paintings of people, places and things that are important to her dotting the walls. In more than one location there are art supplies, as well as piles of sketch books and journals.
