Do you sell sewing patterns for the plushies??

Sorry if this has been here a while! I've been really busy with con prep 😅💦

Currently I don't sell any of my patterns. There might be some in the future but there's a lot of complexity with it emotionally when you release something to others and tbh I'm not sure if I can handle it. I've seen what other patterns sellers go through and it's really rough 💔

As much as I'd really like the more passive income from it, I think it would be too upsetting over time to see people not crediting, claiming it as their own, changing it slightly & selling it as their own pattern, sending it off to large manufacturers, etc

Even sellers who make things that become really well known- people know the art but they don't understand who made the pattern. BeeZeeArt's patterns are incredibly popular, especially their bat pattern. I can almost guarantee you've seen it around if you follow anyone tangential to plushies or plush artists. But people harass BeeZeeArt because they think they're stealing their own pattern or posting it without credit

It just feels like a no win scenario that you have to be okay with at some level and I don't know if I can be ;_;

This is probably a lot more than this anon specifically was looking for answer wise but I wanted to elaborate on it a bit for everyone here since I think it's a really complicated part of being a plush artist that a lot of folks don't realize

My nature guardian in my Legacy of Kain AU is one of the most taxing and high energy individuals Kain has ever had to deal with. Imagine you making new fledglings and your nature guardian straight up just literally evolves into a furry bat, that can fly, cling to trees, and sleep upside down.

Second time around with his passing on of the dark gift he's not ripping Kinyeta's wings off. But he is heavily judging her ability to be able to eat bugs and insects as an alternative food source in comparison to blood.

"What do you MEAN you don't HAVE to drink blood???"

There's no real way to say: I require you to /could you speak to me so I don't feel quite so alone and lonely and like no one cares about without feeling pathetic or making myself sadder than I am feeling or feeling like I'm forcing whomever I'm trying to speak to to do something that they don't want to...or like I'm being selfish...
