Any time someone talks about Haunt stuff people love to come in and comment about how last time they went to a haunted house they said/did shitty things and it was fine.

And like... no, that’s like going to a retail place and doing shitty things. It’s... the same. And like with other jobs, often actors at haunts aren’t really in positions where they can drop character and tell you to stop

but you’re still acting like a shit and they will be complaining about you when the night is over.

(I see so much ‘don’t be shitty to retail workers or service workers etc etc and somehow still see people bragging about being shitty to haunt workers... like bro you are not earning clout you are earning My Dislike)

#luckily at our haunt there are supervisors who WILL call you out for being shitty and if need be remove you from the house or the park!#but like.... don't be shitty to workers and that INCLUDES #workers at weirder jobs #anyway i know it's january but saw some comments and got mad about this again #hauntblr

a new volunteer kid at my haunt this year got dive bombed by another volunteer because he wouldn’t stop throwing hotdogs at the guy when he was sleeping at a party AND then the next week got thrown out a window from the zombie trailer and guess what? he still came back every weekend. legend.

I reblogged that haunt post about people saying weird things to actors and how actors LOVE THAT and now tumblr is showing me every reply or reblog of that post even if it’s not a reply to my specific comment

I really do not need to see all y’all haunt attendees yelling in actors’ faces (especially inappropriate things???) and thinking you’re clever for it.
