There was something incredibly strange about being around places such as this. Her lingering fear of Ghosts and Ghost-type Pokemon being something that had always been enough to deter her from approaching these landmarks. As of late, however, she had found herself feeling less anxious when it came to drawing near these places. She had only ever gone to Pokemon graveyards at times where she absolutely could not avoid doing so. Now, against any sense of reason, she found herself standing just beyond the property of one such place.
There had been no reason for her approach. At least not in terms of her needing to visit anyone, or deliver a departed companion to the afterlife. She was just, here. Here and feeling, strange. She did not know what it was that she felt. There was no conscious sensation of anxiety. She wasn’t uncomfortable. It was almost as though she were both lonely and at ease at the same time. A comfortable grief, perhaps? The time spent with the wild Ghosts that had invaded her home had clearly taken some effect.
She found herself feeling more in-tune to their emotions. It seemed as though she had made some sort of mental connection to the creatures, yet at the same time, she could not comprehend it. It was almost like roaming some sort of spiritual and mental purgatory. Feeling both drawn to something, whilst also being hesitant of it. Just enough of an internal conflict to render her unable to know if she actually wanted to enter the Graveyard, or just linger close to it for a short while.
She felt as though she were being pulled towards something, but also driven away. It was chaotic, and because of the conflicting sensations she found herself feeling incredibly frustrated. Frustrated but calm. This was all weird. She would blame it on the Ghosts for now, given how foreign this experience felt to her.
