How did you become a witch? i've really been getting into everything like tarot, and crystal healing and spiritual healing, and i want to get into some spells but im just nervous about it. do you have any tips?

I became a witch when I performed my first spell. At least, that’s when I decided I would stick to it. You can still do spells and not identify as a witch. It’s a personal choice to make. Or, if you follow a traditional path, there would most likely be a trial of some sort as initiation. I am eclectic and solitary, so I don’t have any specific rules or regulations I need to follow in order to claim the title. Most people I’ve talked to have been the same, but not all will agree. In the end, you choose when and how you want to accept the term or not.

As for tips? I have a tagged/witchtips page that is good for beginners to peruse. There’s not really a right or wrong way to go about being a witch because witchcraft and magic are neutral. You give it a direction. Research what feels comfortable to you and start with something simple. What I did first was a simple ritual that laid out my goals for the year and my intention for them to manifest to my best interest. Something like that should help give you some sort of magical foundation to build from, but isn’t necessary either. It’s hard to say what’s best for you personally. I would suggest to start with something that meshes well with what you already practice and what feels comfortable to you. No need to go do something you don’t know much about just yet.

Good morning! We didn't sleep very well lol. How is everyone today?

Ok legitimately tho. I slept for an hour and now mr stomps a lot keeps shaking the bed like damn stop pacing. I'm about to open the door and yell.

I live thirty minutes away from Gettysburg, and absolutely loooove visiting (its history is some of my favorite to learn about). I hope you guys have a lot of fun the next couple of days!

Well the doorknob rattles like every 3 minutes and if anyone walks around the bed moves so. Plus the entire room is a bit lopsided. The automatic air freshener spooked bf and the bearded man picture made me throw my phone because it looked like one of those pictures where the person's jaw drops irregularly far through the lens. BUT nothing actually paranormal so far. We're just nervous lol.
