Me, jokingly: Oh you know what would be silly a crossover au where c!Tommy escapes the Dream Smp and actually becomes the Lord of Phoenix drop instead of Aphmau lol just a joking thought tho ah ha

Me, hours later: *knees deep in working out a timeline and changes Tommy being Lord would do to the plot, specially minus all the shippy romance stuff and other changes, and ignoring most of the canon endings of the DSMP*

Me: uhhhh I dont think this is a joke anymore....

backstory and facts under the cut! 

a quickish backstory

valeria “val” guevera was born and raised in oasis springs. it’s not a neighborhood known for spellcasters, which is exactly why her mom (a spellcaster) chose it. val lived a very happy and easy life due to magic and rarely worked for anything however she was always super into mermaids and their singing. that’s why when she moved out, she decided to work towards getting her degree in biology and hopes to become a marine biologist one day! however she’s also really into singing and visits karaoke bars every single weekend as a way to reduce stress and maybe find a cute girl? (no luck so far tho :()

her last gf broke up with her before they left for college and she cut her own bangs and loves them too much to let them grow out

went thru a slight (ly large) emo phase in middle school and her mom refuses to let her live it down

actually very good at magic but she cannot live w/o it now

her grandma is a spellcaster and her grandpa is a vampire (both still alive and will be for a while!!)

her grandparents pretty much shunned her mom for being with a human but forgave her when val was born

now she visits every other weekend and they all spend holidays together
