very true. re: hastings, when they staged that “intervention” in s1? yeah, def puts a diff spin on it. plus when spencer was in radley and melissa was like “i never thought you might be unwell” and looked sad.
Mmhmm, though the Hastings parents may have hidden it from Melissa, they certainly don't have compunctions about not telling one daughter about the other daughter's stuff, like with Melissa's miscarriage. (Or Melissa knows about it and that's what her whole "I'm trying to protect you!" spiel at the docks was about, that she saw Spencer do something the night of Ali's disappearance while blacked out)
