The Pokémon Movie Music Collection just came out. While the quality of these dub-only songs is up for debate, the fact that this is the first official release of Pokémon anime music the Western world has seen since who knows how long is still impressive to me. It shows that the dub team is making more of an effort to make the anime as popular as it was back in the day, and for that, you have my respect.
Plus, you should buy the CD just for Haven Paschall.

So this was a fun podcast that I stumbled upon where Haven Paschall gets interviewed. Here are a few tidbits I pulled from the entire thing:
Haven has a little boy who really likes the Hulk
She likes voice acting because she can do it in her pyjamas with no make-up on
Miette’s English VA (Maggie McDowell) is actually a friend of hers and they love watching the episodes featuring Miette together
All the screaming Serena scenes are really fun for her to do. Apparently, the goal is to burst eardrums
She once ran into a few boys in public who were talking about Pokemon, and specifically brought up Kalos. But all she did was ask how old they were and mention that she liked Pokemon to, leaving the whole “oh yeah, I voice one of the leads in the English anime dub” part out of the conversation
Watch the whole thing because it’s really interesting.
I can’t even excuse this by saying that it was 2AM when I made this, because it wasn’t 2AM, it wasn’t even midnight. I’m sorry.
