✨: What motivates them? Is it a deep rooted passion/motivation, or is it something they struggle with from time to time?

It depends on the period of his life, I think. During the Blight, Alistair’s path was pretty clear-cut, even if the Warden he’s fighting alongside did things he didn’t agree with. The wardens were such a windfall for him personally, such a chance at freedom, that he was canonically ready to lay his life down for them and their cause, except where his personal vendetta against Loghain overrode his loyalty. His life came together under their banner so quickly and dramatically that once the Blight was over, and his role with the Wardens turned into something more humdrum and thankless, he lost his way a little, though still maintained his fealty to the wardens. But the Orlesian wardens aren’t the same as the Fereldan wardens, they’re not the people he grew close with, not the people he felt saved him from the Templar Order. By the time the Rift opens and Clarel starts in on the plot to pre-empt the remaining Blights, he’s already a bit of a dark horse, and doesn’t have many, or any, true friends or allies tying him to the Orlesians. Hawke calling on him is something of a blessing, because at last there’s something for him to handle again.

TL;DR Alistair is very focused in DA:O, loses most of that focus in the intervening decade as a warden, and gains some back during DA:I.

Like anybody he can get bored and falter in his convictions, but ultimately he’s devoted to being fundamentally a good man and doing as much of the right thing as he can reasonably manage. The wardens offered him a good way to carry on with that.

10: Have you picked up any of your muses habits

When Scott gets writers block and doesn't want to do anything, what he usually does is sleep, and I have to admit, it's more like he picked up that habit from me. I do try my best to sleep a normal 7-9 hours a day, but I sleep closer to 11-14. It's very unhealthy for me, so expect to see more of that from Scott in the future.
