Update on the shelter kitten who needs surgery, just saw a post on the shelter's Facebook page, he got adopted! And little Oz looks so happy with his owner, all cuddled into her shoulder.

(I don't listen to naddpod, yet, so taz would be preferred) I'm 21, 5'3", love theater. I'm a cuddly bitch, who needs hugs to live? I have a cat and a doggo that bring me joy. Question that I, as a person who loves hugs, has had for a while. What sort of hugs do Thomas Acres, Rex Brewster, and Peter Vincent give? And/or are they the sort of people who like hugs?

It seems that I have been trusted with the lives of some of our favorite actor’s characters… I must use this power only for good.

Thomas Acres doesn’t have the chance to give hugs very often—he works around the clock helping a lot of people after all, and he never really gets the time to just sit down with anyone. Besides, it wouldn’t feel very professional of him.  But get him away from a professional setting, and he gives rather nice hugs.  They tend to be a bit quick, like he’d feel bad about keeping you for very long, but they’re very gentle and comforting; and the better he knows you, the less awkward he’ll feel about letting it linger a little longer. 

Rex Brewster does not hug. He will peel you off of him like a leech on the bottom of his foot if you try.  Do not touch this man unless he instigates it, and even then he can be fairly quick to turn on you.  If he’s going to show you affection, it’ll be one of those quick air kisses on both cheeks that people in Show Business ™ so often do.  And if you’re lucky, he’ll put an arm around your shoulder, but not get much closer than that.  He even extends this to much of his own family—he’s never been a very emotionally demonstrative person, and he would rather everyone knew that just so everyone can avoid unpleasantness. 

Peter Vincent’s hugs are a little rusty since there hasn’t been anyone in his life for a long time that he feels he could give one to, but they feel a lot like coming home after a long trip and running into a much-loved family member who at least has the grace not to scold you for not writing or calling.  Lots of back pats, and very soft given that he’s wearing about three layers at any given time.  And there’s a certain both intense awkwardness and desperation to them, like he either doesn’t want to let go or isn’t sure when he should… he’s lived alone for most of his life, so every scrap of friends and family he can gather on his way out are more than worth it.
