Today is Jellicle Queens OCs Day, so I wanted to show some love for my friend @robinofmoxley​‘s new characters, starting with the survivor who became the Protector’s mate...

Karma came to the Junkyard as a young adult after a personal tragedy--her parents had both been hit by a car and had to be put to sleep to end their suffering, leaving behind their shell-shocked and terrified daughter.  Asparagus rescued her from the streets and brought her to the Junkyard, where Munkustrap offered her a place to stay and heal and Jemima instantly latched onto her since she “needed a friend”.

Over her first year in the Junkyard, she worked through her grief with the help of the three cats who’d first found her and started to come out of her shell a bit.  She proved to be a very fast learner, a sharp sarcastic wit, and a fierce fighter who wasn’t afraid to stand to the senior cats of the Tribe to prove herself.  When Jenyanydots expressed some doubt about her, Karma immediately set about proving her wrong.  As the Jellicle Ball came closer, Munkustrap took it upon himself to teach her to dance… and found himself falling in love with the blue queen.  To her surprise, she was falling for him as well.  And at the next Jellicle Ball, they became mates officially and, after another year or so, the parents of a little girl named Neptune.

Saoirse had been abandoned in the Junkyard by her two owners—one a woman who’d always pampered her and treated her kindly and the other a man who liked to kick her around whenever he was in a bad mood.  When the night’s border patrol found her, she insisted on staying up through the night to wait for her humans to come and find her, even venturing out to the exact spot where they’d left in her in hopes that the woman would return.  Alonzo tried to dissuade her from it since, in his mind, humans were fundamentally untrustworthy and didn’t truly care about their pets, but Saoirse would hear none of it and decided that she was going to go find her owners herself.  Not wanting her to go alone, Alonzo followed for her own protection, and the two embarked on a small-scale adventure across London.  While she was resourceful and intelligent, she didn’t know much about surviving on the streets by herself, so Alonzo became her guide and teacher during their journey, showing her how to hunt and defend herself against other cats. Over time, he found himself actually growing fond of her… maybe a little more than just fond, even if he wouldn’t admit it to himself just yet.  The two did eventually find Saoirse’s female owner, but to the queen’s utter heartbreak, she merely brushed past the two cats and went on her way, not recognizing her former pet.  For a long time afterward, Saoirse was numb from grief, but the idea of having a new home in the Junkyard did at least alleviate her fears about being alone again.

When she recovered her spirits, she set about making herself as useful as she could to the other Jellicles, helping Jellylorum and Hathor with the kittens and watching the Protectors from afar so she could better learn to fight.  She and Jelly actually had a lot in common, being no-nonsense, but extremely tenderhearted queens.  The more time she spent around Alonzo, the more she could sense the kind heart and noble spirit under the unflappable exterior… she even started to fall for him in return.  And when she was injured trying to defend him from Macavity during an attack, that was when they knew for certain that they could never lose each other.  The two danced together as mates at the next Jellicle Ball and, some time later, became the parents of four kittens—Lazlo, Lumi, Neve, and Chisanu.

Another one of @robinofmoxley‘s Jellicle OCs--say hello to Nyx!

Nyx was originally found in the cab of the old car in the Junkyard, guarding it like it was her own turf. She couldn’t remember her parents and even replied that she didn’t have any when asked where they were; some cats even guessed, only half-jokingly, that she’d just been magically summoned into the world all alone.  Munkustrap decided that just wouldn’t do and adopted her himself.  Eventually she was legally adopted by a wealthy businessman—and his gentle giant of a German Shepherd—but she always considered the Junkyard her real home.

One of her new closest friends was Gus the Theatre Cat, and she regularly stays over at the Criterion Theater to help him, Asparagus, and Jellylorum with whatever play they’re putting on.  She’s also surprisingly close with Cassandra, who sees a lot of herself in the kitten and serves as her wine aunt of sorts.  But Nyx’s real passion is being a protector and a fighter.  After years of fending for herself, she gets to channel her ferocity and pragmatism into looking out for her new family and all of those who can’t look out for themselves.  Her fighting style is “if you can't latch onto their face, bite them in the dick,” so she’s absolutely not afraid to fight dirty if she has to. And while she’s admittedly a huge daredevil who will do just about anything for an adrenaline rush, she’s also very sensitive and community-minded and dearly wants to take over her father’s job when she grows up.  And after she saved her big sister Jemima from one of Macavity’s henchcats, Munkustrap decided to make it official by appointing her his successor.  This caused a small uproar within the Tribe—a kitten with unknown parentage named the second to Old Deuteronomy’s own son?—but Jemima gave Nyx her blessing since she would be “much better at it”, and her good friend Electra offered to go through training with her so she wouldn’t feel alone.  Alonzo, Plato, Admetus, and Tumblebrutus were a bit surprised, but they gladly welcomed her into their ranks.  While she did feel a bit intimidated at first, Nyx is determined to be the best Protector and eventual Leader the Tribe has ever seen… all the better if she never has to give up her silly side.

Oh gosh this is SO HARD bc they’re so many good options. Okay well the one person has to Mox without a doubt. I think I’d want him to have a match with someone as crazy and sadistic as him so I’m gonna have to go with my all time favorite older gen guy Mick Foley.

So to answer your question, an epic feud between Moxley and Foley is my cup of tea. Imagine the carnage those two could come up with. Also bonus points is if someone else tries to butt in on their feud like trying to team up with one to really hurt the other and instas they’re like listen only I can hate this guy and so they team up to take on the person who tried to cut in.
