I just had some questions about your taurs if I could? Does a taur who wants to have a child need to find another taur of the same species? If a lion and a deer wanted to have children would they be able to? Would it be random what the child was or is there some genetics somewhere to take care of this if it's possible? On that note as well are taurs all relative to the human half or the animal half? Are weasel taurs weasel sized? Or is the animal body fitted to the human half?

On that note, no, they wouldn’t need to find the same species. It’s touched better upon in @robininthelabyrinth fic Nocturne but for simplicity’s sake the child would be one parent species or the other, ala Disney progeny rules.

All taurs are around the same height to normal humans (with some exceptions). Art wise I try to keep them all fairly similar to the animal body sizes are adjusted accordingly to keep the body of the taur balanced but this depends on the species I’m working with. Some larger animals like Moose would be larger in the animal body than a wolf or an otter, but that’s mostly a personal preference to keep a visual constant for world building. <3

Regis laughs when Cor reaches his limit and just tosses Noct cause he's been on the side of those claws and that chirping multiple times. Jokes on him though cause now Noct will climb him expecting to be thrown if he can't find his favorite climbing tree. On that note though, imagine Noctis trying to climb the glavies as well, just anyone he can get his little claws in because he's learning how to climb and everyone should be proud of him. So he starts climbing anyone

The chirping is 100% Cor’s fault, no other big cat does it quite like that. It’s enough to make Regis cackle at the problem Cor made for himself.

Regis only wishes to be left out of the climbing thing. As a human, it actually kinda hurts. At least he can blame this new bad habit of Noctis’ on Cor.

Imagine Regis talking with the Glaives and them watching as this cub Prince climbs up the King’s leg. And then the King just, plucks him off and throws him. He just... threw his own child. It’s enough to make Drautos stutter into silence. Of course, then Noctis tries climbing up a Glaive’s leg, and the Glaive has no idea what to do. The King turns and tells them to ‘throw him like I did. He enjoys it’. The Glaive complies with much reluctance.

Noctis is ecstatic.

He has to climb everyone now! See! He’s a good clouded leopard, he’s really good at climbing!

Omg max having a teddy bear and how attached to it he was was the cutest thing. He kept following Gwen around for Mr Honeynuts and it was so adorable to be reminded that he is just 10

RIGHT??? He tries to act so mature but he’s still a child and I love it when we’re reminded of that.

I saw you drew both Prompto and Noctis as dragons, are the other boys gonna get dragon forms? And like if I can geek out over the idea, what are the size differences? Are they all feathered and fluffy? I'd love to hear more about dragon bros au

Dragon Prompto is actually from @brosura’s AU (https://archiveofourown.org/works/16241924)!!! Dragon Noctis is separate from that BUT we’ve also talked about AUs where they’re both dragons so :,))wOW THIS MAKES ME WANNA FIGURE OUT FUN DRAGON DESIGNS FOR THE OTHER BOYS THOUGH I’ll have to put that on my potential future doodles list >:3c

IN THE MEANTIME, here are some thoughts on all of them as dwagons:

Prompto is all feathers and some scales, very sleek. He’s built for fast flying and good air maneuverability!! (this is from Kat’s AU)

Noctis is very regal-looking and tends to be cat-like; his body is furred and his wings are feathered. He’s a little bit larger than Prompto. He can almost keep up with Prompto in the air, though is more durable than him in a fight. He also has the most magical ability out of all of them.

Gladio is significantly larger than the rest of them, and I imagine he’d have a combination of fur and scales and also feathered wings?! He doesn’t do any of the fancy flight maneuvers the others can do, and his wings are mostly built for distance flight. I imagine he probably has some intimidating horns as well, and has the most physical strength of the bunch.

Ignis I can’t decide if I want him to also have feathery wings or more traditional dragon wings, he might be some combination of scales and feathers too though :O I think it’d be neat if he were a deer-like dragon (maybe like a kirin? But with wings!). He’s especially fast on land and is an impressive jumper with deadly accuracy when it comes to attacks. And he’s a bit smaller than Prompto sURPRISE!!

Some of this might be subject to change, but they were fun to think about!! Thank you so much for the ask 💕💕💕!!!!!

Regis being all regal and royal and then there's baby Noct just climbing all over him on live TV and he doesn't even think just grabs him by the scruff and tosses him. The crowd is in between gasps and just shocked silence while everyone who knows what is happening is preparing for the PR blow up

Everyone cooed a little when they saw Noctis’ little fluffy head start climbing. (Meanwhile his nanny is horrified he’d manged to escape them so easily. Your highness! No!)

Meanwhile, all cat shifter and especially cat shifter parents are validated. Even the King does it! Their children are like ‘King Regis why?’

But of course, everyone else.... isn’t as amused. Regis realised exactly what he just did when they all gasped and he just stared at Noctis on the floor. Oops. There was a very quick explanation that Clouded Leopards are arboreal, and as young as Noctis is, he can easy make higher falls. And that he just thinks it’s fun. 

....there’s still a lot of news things about it. Mind you, experts do come out and admit the King is right - that fall isn’t bad for a cub - the’ll do it on purpose in play, and Prince Noctis could actually like it.

Just wait until he learns how to climb up other things and pounce down! There’s - a lot of yelling. Cor swears loudly. Noctis is having the time of his life.

Also seeing the werewolf of the month calendar and being reminded that David is a fucking furry is great. (Also seeing Jermy in the woodscouts was good continuity call that we haven't really seen before maybe setting up for a Daniel return?)

Also there is NO DOUBT we’ll see Daniel again. If we get Bonquisha and Jermy and the Wood/Flower Scouts again (Hell, we got the fucking eyepatched SQUIRREL back), we’ll get him. My only hope is that Jen is with him because....I am a Not Straight.

So does max get a costume too? Has max had to meet dragonface yet?

I like to think that Mogar wants to get him his own pelt, but he’s too small for a bear pelt. Maybe once he is bigger.

Ohhh, I haven’t thought about Dragonface in this AU!! I feel like he would like Max, and be so jealous that Max gets to spend so much time with Xray and Vav. Max finds him kind of annoying, but harmless. And with Neil and Nikki out of town, he could use someone his own age to talk to. Maybe teach the kid to toughen up and be unafraid to curse a bit. Let out a ‘fuck this’ here and there.

...Now I’m just realizing that the two of them are voiced by Kerry and Michael. Y’all...Junior Detectives....But smaller....Junior Junior Detectives....
