After a much needed laugh at the image of Riley making Queen Mean fall on her ass, Tani pulled out her phone one last time and spotted a text from Layla.
‘is it selfish for me to ask you to take me to a bar so i can drink it out and maybe cry on you a bit?’
Tani looked at her phone, sent a series of texts back, then looked back at Riley. “Is it cool if Layla joins us for drinks? She’s having a tough night thanks to Queen Mean and uh —” She stopped for a moment to lean in close and speak softly with the other. “Fair warning: Layla kinda has a thing for Queen Mean, but please don’t tease her about it right now. She’s already giving herself enough crap and let’s be real, Vanessa probably is, too.”
