“thank g o d it’s finally september. it is just me or did august last a lifetime?” the blonde raised an eyebrow at the person standing beside her in line at the cafe on campus. “i’m sick and tired of this god damn heat, aren’t you?”

“oh my gosh, yes !” she beamed, as she turned to the other and blew on her hot tea. yes, she did have her own cup of tea with her, but she was very particular about her tea and well, she was mostly in line to get some lunch. “i cannot wait for the leaves to change colors.”

Riley: I'm fine. Nothing happened too bad to me.

Riley: Hey, Dawn had that right as your girlfriend, didn't she? I mean, you two are pretty lovey dovey.

Riley: She's gonna step up to fight and if she didn't I would have.

Willa: Good, I'm glad. I wouldn't want you to get hurt because she's a meanie butt.

Willa: I guess...I mean I just don't like fighting in general and...I don't know if she's actually my girlfriend...

Willa 📲 Cookie

Cookie: You already know that liking my food and being my friend is more than enough of a returned favor for me! And no, it wasn't all that bad! It was only the pancakes that burned, not the whole place. I doubt that would have happened and pancakes can be difficult so mistakes happening is understandable.

Cookie: Okay. I'll let you have this for now since I can't change how you think.

Cookie: You don't think so? If that's the case then I'd have a nap buddy. Though, I don't think ate Bada would like that so much.

Willa: I know, but /I/ don't think it's enough. You do so much for us, Cookie.

Willa: And the pancakes were supposed to be me returning the favor. Do you think you could teach me how to actually make them some time? Pretty please?

Willa: Yayyy!

Willa: Isn't Bada's job to keep you awake?

Dawn grinned when she saw just how much she made the shorter girl blush. “What’s up Wills?” she asked quietly as she searched the shorter girl’s eyes.

Willa shook her head much more furiously to try to hide how hard she was blushing. It certainly wasn’t working, though. Her cheeks were bright red, she was grinning ear to ear, and with Dawn’s lips against hers, her heart skipped a beat and she melted into the kiss. “Dawny I-” She trailed off, unsure of what she was trying to say as her eyes fluttered open and she saw just how beautiful Dawn was up close.
