Not sure if I have already posted this here, but I’ll post it anyways. This is a timeline I have compiled for the Clancyverse, comprised of some of the Tom Clancy novels, Tom Clancy video games, and supplementary materials. This timeline contains: * Tom Clancy novels (in chronological order) from Without Remorse to Rainbow Six. * The Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, and H.A.W.X. video game franchises as well as some supplemental material connected to them. * Real-life events referenced in the franchise. (A few happen slightly different to the real world.) This is a fanon timeline, but this is about as close to canon as it can be. Notes: * I have ignored the Tom Clancy novels chronologically set after Rainbow Six. * I have ignored the Splinter Cell novels and Splinter Cell: Essentials as they contradict with the main Splinter Cell series. This timeline uses Version 1 of Splinter Cell: Double Agent. * Tom Clancy's EndWar, The Division, Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard, Rainbow Six: Quarantine, Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad and a few other video games (Mainly reboot games) have been ignored as they occur in separate continuities. * This timeline does not include Assassin’s Creed, Watch_Dogs, or Far Cry, as Ubisoft has stated that they do not share continuity with each other. * Some IRL people die earlier in the Clancyverse than in real-life, so their death dates will not match up to real-life history. (Noted examples being Saddam Hussein (who is implied to be the Iraqi president assassinated in Executive Orders), and Fidel Castro who dies in 2006 according to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder. In regards to Saddam Hussein, because the Iraq War does happen in the Clancyverse according to the Rainbow Six series and Ghost Recon series, the timeline assumes that a leader that was a Hussein sympathizer takes office, and the events play as they did in the real-world, just with this new leader. * I had to ignore mentions of presidents being re-elected if it did not match with other games and retconned them as resigning. Again, this is a fanon aspect of the timeline. * This timeline ignores the Outbreak Event in Rainbow Six: Siege, and considers it non-canon. * This timeline ignores (for obvious reasons) film adaptations of Tom Clancy novels, as well as the Jack Ryan television series.
