1. Favorite doughnut?

Well, I can't really answer that. We don't really have types of donuts in the Netherlands. And we don't really have real ones either. But I just like donuts the naturally way I guess.

2. Does blood make you queasy? 

Nope, instead, I'm fascinated by blood, wounds, fractures. Though some make me shiver, I always like to know how something happend and how to solve. How does it look etc.

3. Book you’ve read the most times?

I think it's "the alchemist" from Paulo Coelho. At least I think it is,  because I don't read so much books anymore, besides for my study.

4. Nintendo or Super Nintendo?

Nintendo, 'cause that's the only one that is nostalgic to me.

5. How do you like to celebrate your birthday?

I'd rather not. I don't like to celebrate an other year passed by.

6. Do you like the idea of 3D TVs/Movies, or not?

No, I don't think it is all that 'cool' and I don't feel like I'm IN the movie or what ever they tell about it. Plus, I'd rather go to '4D' movies in themeparks where the bench suddenly moves and you get splashed in your face.

7. Preferred web browser?

Firefox and google chrome.

8. Favorite musical that has been filmed for TV/Movies?

HAIR

9. Facebook: Love it or hate it?

LOVE it. Because I can keep in touch with family I only see once in the ten years.

10. Do you keep a diary/journal?

Nope, I only write one page and than I forget to keep up with the rest of the days.

I was at the park with my 5 year old niece, and she wanted to climb the monkey bars. She had jumped from higher up than she would fall, and yet was still afraid to do them one after the other, which I didn't understand... Until I asked her about it.

Her: I can't, I'm scared

Me: But hun, you jumped from up higher, see? You know that didn't hurt, so even if you were to fall, you know that it wouldn't hurt.

Her: I know. It's not falling that I'm afraid of... it's letting go.

Something about that really resonated with me... Such a basic fear, and yet I was in the same boat...

Me: Yeah... letting go is definitely much scarier than falling. But sometimes we have to do things, even if they scare us. Ya know?

Her: *thoughtful* Okay, I'll try
