If you look past the surface level of the lyricsm, i think Hayloft really did belong on a lot of those character playlists in retrospect.

On one level, the song is about fucking in a barn.

On another, it's about parental authority violating your own as a person

If you include the sequel song, it's about being nonbinary and killing your dad
