As a proud otherlinker and advocate for voluntary alterhumanity, this is just insane. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean you get to be the end all be all of whether or not it should exist. You not liking it does not erase us either. We are still here whether you like it or not. Otherpaws, otherlinks, fictionpaws, funlinks, etc are all a part of the large, fluid (in the sense that there is multiple ways to be yourself) community.

I think what makes Percy’s situation in TLOVM Episode 12 even more heartwrenching is that it’s the most we’ve seen Percy emote since the beginning of the series.

Sure, we’ve seen him angry and vengeful and trapped by the spectres of his past… but that’s been partially Orthax too. We’ve never seen Percy really laugh apart from once or twice, or smile, or experience any kind of positive or healthy emotion at all.

That’s very much got to do with the fact he has not had much to be happy about for five years. Not since he escaped the Briarwoods, thought Cass dead and surviving day to day for the chance of revenge.

But now?

He’s crying. Because after all this time he has things to live for. He has Cass back. He has Whitestone. He has things he has missed for so long that he went numb with madness.

Orthax is trying to take that happiness from him, making him turn his gun onto people he all of a sudden realises are his friends. It’s a gong of self-realisation tainted with the horror at what he’s being forced to do.

But it’s a good sign. It really is, because it means Percy is healing, and he has found things beyond what he thought he wanted- which was revenge.

At this very moment, No Mercy Percy just… evaporates, and leaves a much healthier and happier Percy behind with no regrets and everything to look forward to.

And goddamnit this white-haired anime protagonist deserves it.

Humans require a community to thrive and get depressed if they're left alone, so it's best to keep them in groups. However humans can pack bond with anything, and Grace is very close to the Eridians, so he's okay.

The Eridians misunderstand him, and proceed to panic because they only have one human. They only have one human but it turns out you need to keep them in packs. They can die if they're isolated for to long and they can't let Grace die this is bad bad bad.

So they send a message to earth, asking if anybody would be willing to volunteer to live on Erid with Grace. They stress that while this is a life or death matter, they need the human to be a willing participant. That all of their needs and wants would be met and that the Eridians would give Earth information and technology in exchange. The volunteer would be given a life of luxury in exchange for living on Erid with Grace.

Unfortunately, there is a mistranslation, and the humans think that the Eridians require a sacrifice otherwise they will use their resources against earth. In order to avoid a possible interstellar war with an alien species, they choose a convict who has a life sentence to be locked in a bare rocket and blasted off to Erid.

That is how Simon, the only survivor of his religious extremist cult, ended up on the SM-13 headed to an alien planet against his will.

@scribblethedog (roleplay blog), I liked the scribble in my username so much that I made it the name of my fursona, who eventually branched out into her own character,

@thefatjolteon (reblog blog) was originally thefatflareon, but I really like yellow so I used jolteon so I could make the blog extra yellow, I used an eevelution since my sister really likes eevee and often makes us play where we both have to be eeveelutions where I always choose either flareon or jolteon, the 'fat' is self-expalantory, it flowed a bit better when I was called flareon but I kept it when I switched to Jolteon since there aren't a lot of adjectives starting with J that I vibe with
