So Haymond and I have been experimenting with a loon form and it’s...interesting. He was settled when I met him, has always been a European hare, but lately I’ve been really taking a shine to loons, they’re gorgeous and they sound so pretty. And there’s something about them that feels really calming? So we thought, hey maybe this would be a cool form to try out?
look at these birds, they’re beautiful
I’ve tried projecting him a little bit, I’m mentally occupied with school atm, but the first time I tried it I was able to see loon!Haymond flying around my living room and hare!Haymond sitting next to me in the corner of the couch.
We’re not totally sure how we feel about it, we’re sure he’s going to stay a hare. It’s what we keep coming back to and it feels comfortable and right. Not to say we’re not enjoying it. Once school is over I’ll try a little more but...yeah, it’s an adventure. I’m a bit apprehensive about the whole thing. I’ve never tried a different form before (like I said, Hay was settled from day 1).
We’ll see how it goes!

As a Minnesotan I approve the Loon-ness. Have you listened to their calls? They’re amazing
Goodness yes! I love loon calls. I’ve fallen asleep listening to them before.
