Some off colored redesigns that i did awhile back! Each has their own story but all ended up in the group lead by Snowflake Obsidian! Who currently has my favorite design out of all of them.

Snowflake

Snowflake came out wrong, but didn't know it. She wanted to serve the diamonds and was devastated when she found out she couldn't because she was defective. To escape shattering in era 1, she escaped into the crevices of her home planet (A volcanic moon) and found others like her. Despite everything, she still wishes to serve the diamonds, and wishes she wasn't defective.

Mixed Peri

Mixed Peri is an Era 1 Peridot mixed with an Era 2 Peridot. Era 2 Peri might be smaller and more playful, but they're just stunted in their physical growth. Era 1 Peri had to learn a lot while working with them, but they slowly fell in love over centuries. However, once found out, they were chased out. Turns out, while they were the same kind of gem, because they were of different eras, their fusion came out 'wrong'. They don't mind though, they love each other regardless.

Silver Pearl

Silver pearl was once a servant of a cruel Lapis Lazuli. This Lapis abused her pearl, until that Pearl finally had enough of it and ran away. She hid on a ship and came here. Her Lapis is still looking for her, and because of her previous trauma she's hesitant to get close to anyone. Hayune keeps trying to be close, and despite a small crush on the other gem, Silver Pearl tries to act as unattached as ever.

Hayune

Hayune is a mineral used in the making of Lapis Lazuli's. They're never supposed to be their own gems. So when Hayune came out, the plans were to crush her and remake her. But Hayune liked being alive, so she ran. She's utterly unique among gems, but if Homeworld ever found her, she'd be dust in a second. Still, she's trying to enjoy life and make friends. That Pearl seems nice! If... she would only talk to Hayune. Did Hayune do something wrong?

Apparently I never posted Protector Hauyne? Somehow?? I designed her way back in January, but I was torn on her palette decisions, so... I guess that's why?

Anyway, she's one of Nambulite's political rivals! A retired general of Blue Diamond's, Protector Hauyne resents that she was Her Diamond's second choice to ascend--after Crocidolite turned the honor down! She's a fierce knight, but her job is mostly pointless, because the military goals of the Authority are handled by Yellow... who has plenty of more experienced Generals, since Blue rarely heads campaigns. Unfortunately, she takes out her pettiness on Nambulite, because she knows they have no idea what being ascended means, and the first few hundred years of rampaging tantrum put a bad taste in her mouth. Nambulite should be a scholar, they should be enriching their Diamond's court, they should be waiting for their holy crusade--and no, they're causing problems on purpose.

Secretly, she's jealous that Pink Diamond met them one (1) time and promoted them to her vizier. She knows Nambulite in most other worlds is a knight, in the way that she's a scholar--so how dare they be bad at the role she couldn't have, for a Diamond that coddles and favors them?

(She's unprepared for the Auspex's return. Wholly and completely. What do you mean Nambulite was looking for the Goddess' Voice all along?)

17. Can he fight? Yes! Both in physical and pokemon sense. He carries around a trusty wooden baseball bat for both hitting pokeballs and a bit of violence if it truly must be done! He doesn't really like hurting people though and would prefer to befriend and calm down. He's a bit afraid of his own temper too so he tries his best to keep his patience!

44. Pokemon team: Valentine the Sylveon (partner pokemon), Drifty the driftblim, lappy the lapras, cotton the flaafy, Meowy the meowth, and Celebi (who also accepts being called Celery).

Ya know, I realized that I draw/talk a lot about Rainbow and X8b on this blog, but there are other characters to this story. So here are some different gems I’ve made up

A Lot More under the cut

Snowflake: Snowflake Obsidian was an off color gem made on a volcanic colony. She came out early and with a lighter appearance than Obsidian’s should have. Despite this, there didn’t seem to be any other deformities that the Peridots could see. So they kept her around. She met and talked with the group of Obsidians she had emerged with for a few months and got to know them. However, when a teacher for the Obsidians finally came, they decided she was too off colored and ordered the other new Obsidians to poof her. Her batch didn’t follow the instructions, and even bought her enough time to run away, where she disappeared into the cracks and crevasses of the volcanic kindergarten.

BP: She started life as any other pearl, given to a gem for service to the Diamonds. The gem she had been given to was a Lapis that nearly cracked her gem terraforming colonies in record time. However...this Lapis was not kind to her. BP endured constant berating from her Lapis. She was told she was off colored and not good enough. Eventually, BP decided to run away. However, there was one catch, she was stuck on homeworld most of the time, as Lapis was out mostly. Finally, her Lapis took her along for a day when she was called to visit a volcanic colony. She ran for it when her Lapis was distracted. She was forced into the kindergartens of this planet when the Lapis searched for her. Luckily, she found a group of off colors that took her in and hid her.

Mixy: Also known as Mixed Peridot, this fusion started off as Peridots assigned to a volcanic colony. Two gems, an Era 1 Peridot, and a slightly off colored Era 2 Peridot. Era 1 was cold, serious and very logical while Era 2 was kind of a goofball. They fell hard and fast, and soon they were giggling away from prying eyes with banter and flirting. They fused in secret a few times, before going back to work. However, eventually they were caught by an Obsidian inspector and Era 2 was determined to be the cause of the infraction. She was poofed and set to be shattered. Era 1 stole her gem and ran. They wandered the planet for a long time, not daring to fuse again, until they met Snowflake. Snowflake began to travel with them and encouraged them to fuse again, and eventually, Mixy became a permafusion.

Hayune: Hayune’s are not supposed to exist. They are not made by homeworld and are not considered an ‘official’ gem type. However they are used to make Lapis Lasuli’s. So when Hayune emerged, she was an oddity. She was scheduled to be shattered, because she had no purpose. Being new and clueless, she didn’t argue. However, a Peridot felt sad for her, so helped her escape, covering her tracks. Hayune was alone for a long time after, wandering the world and learning the dangers of what would happen if she was caught. Eventually, she ran into Snowflake and Mixy, who accepted her with open arms.

However, that’s not the end of the story. They do eventually meet Rainbow, who travels to their planet when trying to get away from Earth and the discovery of the Crystal Gems. Rainbow is confused and perplexed by them, especially after making the discovery that they wish to return to homeworld society and be accepted by them. (Well...all except BP)

Snowflake believes that homeworld is good. Homeworld gives gems a place to live, a direction and path to follow. It gives them gems to be around and a way of life.  The only problem, in her opinion, is the gems within the system who take advantage of it to hurt gems they don’t like, such as mixed fusion. Otherwise, Homeworld encourages good relationships and gives them a direction and gem to work towards.

Not everyone is in agreeance with that, however...especially not Rainbow. But this post is already long enough.

Im srry theres still no update,,,,, if i cant get it tonight, then I'll try for next week. I think the same thing for too long is my problem, so i think writing some of my other stories should help.
