Reminder that Abel has been dead longer than anyone else and presumably predates most people besides the seraphim and other holy creatures in Heaven and still isn’t a murderous asshole. Let this be your yearly PSA that “they’re just from a different time” isn’t a valid reason for someone to treat you poorly, and you don’t need to carry relationships that are harmful to you into 2026. Be like Abel but without the mad daddy issues or getting murdered by your brother.
Guys, I’m not surprised that Abel is straight. I already sort of assumed he was, and a heterosexual guy who’s comfortable with his masculinity and kindhearted? Amazing, bellissimo, there’s a shortage. What I want to talk about is the fact that, not only is “Dick Master” Adam apparently an ally, but they also chose to include him in the merch, which typically tends to reflect the state of the show at its latest official point (hence why Angel appears with the Vees and not with the hotel crew), rather than Lute, implying, at least to me, that she’s so homophobic that the double-dead misogynist was a better fit for the range. Or, alternatively, she’s so off-the-rails that she’s now progressed from hallucinating Adam to cosplaying him, and it’s actually her in the picture. Take your pick.
When I first entered the Hazbin fandom, I lowkey judged Lucifer for losing his faith in humanity and giving up on the idea of redemption. Then I realised that I, a mortal being who’s been on this planet for barely two decades and has realistically only been self-aware for one, also have absolutely no faith in humanity, and I’m objectively not surrounded by the worst of the worst of its specimens on a daily basis. So I’m still judging because it’s a cartoon and I’m petty, but I get it now.
Hey, where are my Hazbin fans at?
I’m not usually one to post things like this, but I’ve been having an incredibly tough time with my mental health for the past few months, and I’m having a particularly rough patch at the moment. I would love it if you could drop your favourite lighthearted headcanons/theories in the replies or reblogs. I don’t care if they’re realistic or complete crack theories, I could really just use something to smile at right now. Bonus points if they focus on something completely inconsequential that you’ve thought out way too much, those are my favourite ones. I’ll kick it off with one of my own that was inspired when I read the wiki a few months ago; Alastor, despite not liking most sweet foods, likes pineapple on pizza purely because he found out it’s the single most divisive food in modern culture, and naturally decided he must enjoy it out of spite.

My “calling it now” guesses/predictions for future seasons of Hazbin Hotel:
Lilith’s deal with Adam somehow involved her not being able to use her voice (which is framed as one of her greatest strengths) or contact her family, and the reason she didn’t act in between Adam dying and calling Charlie will be clarified at some point.
Lilith and Rosie are somehow connected and possibly have some kind of deal involving Rosie keeping an eye on Charlie. Either related to said deal or a separate one, Lilith has something to do with Rosie forcing Alastor off the air. I’m just not fully convinced that the seven year thing was a coincidence/complete red herring.
(soft guess) Rosie is Eve, and Eve is Roo. Frank was actually Rosie’s second (or more) husband, and the “first husband” she jokingly claims she would have eaten if he hadn’t tasted so bad was actually Adam. She’s so powerful because she was actually one of the first sinners and isn’t actually like the others, and the cannibalism is either part of her persona or a roundabout reference to her eating the apple and introducing sin to humankind. Viv has previously depicted Roo as also wearing a big hat (yep, that’s my basis for that one, as well as their names starting with the same letters).
The hotel is going to reluctantly team up with The iPad Vox at some point in order to take down Valentino and Velvette, possibly to do with trying to get Angel back.
There’s more to Vox and Alastor’s backstory than what we’ve been given so far. Maybe I’m holding on too tight to the “complicated and sad” thing, but I just don’t think we’ve seen the “complicated” part yet. Alastor being an asshole is pretty simple. It’s Alastor. I think there’s going to be some reveal about what was actually going on with Alastor’s side of things. He potentially had to turn Vox down on Rosie’s orders or for some other convoluted reason. Are we really pretending that the same man who dared make a deal with the Princess of Hell without even having an exact plan on what to do with it wouldn’t have at least seen an opportunity to use Vox’s proposition for his own gain?
Angel was either forced to kill his father or did so protecting Molly.
I know everyone is leaning towards Cherri, but I think the next to ascend to Heaven is going to be either Husk or Angel. It won’t be at the same time. Whichever of them goes first leaving Hell will be the final push for the other to try to be good for real. Cherri and Pentious are going to be a slow burn long-distance and Cherri won’t make it to Heaven until later. If I had to take a stab at the order, I’d have to say Husk, Cherri, Angel.
We’re going to get Vaggi’s final backstory in S3. We already pretty much know that she was created by Adam to be an exorcist, but we’re going to find out exactly how, and whether Lute and the other exorcists were created the same way (if so, Lute’s issues just gained a whole new level).
Whatever communication there is with Lilith is going to establish that she and Lucifer are actually separated, at least temporarily. Lucifer is going to go through an awkward dating app phase to try to get over it. That one is just a want and not strictly a prediction.
Someone at some point is going to realise that Niffty is the only thing Alastor actually cares about, and it’s going to be a problem. One detail I loved in S2 was that he doesn’t actually go from taunting Vox to trying to de-escalate the situation until Niffty is at gun point and in genuine danger.
Process of elimination says we’ll probably get Niffty’s backstory and an expansion of Charlie’s.
Arackniss will be introduced and there’s going to be a whole thing about him being salty about being the older brother and being the smallest. Definitely not speaking as someone whose younger sister is five inches taller than them.

What two songs are basically the same–
Okay, hear me out: Insane by Black Gryph0n and How Bad Can I Be? from The Lorax.
Both are songs that have no business being as catchy as they are, about men justifying/revelling in their respective evil deeds, with choruses ending by them asking how said deeds reflect on their moral standing/mental state (“How bad can I possibly be?” “Does that make me insane?”), set shortly after they arrive in a new place they intend to exploit for their own gain. The only discernible differences are that one of them is still in denial about being deplorable whilst the other has fully embraced it, and that one song is from the perspective of a lanky, egotistical, weirdly musically talented man with a penchant for evil and destruction and a love of fancy coats, and the other is from the perspective of Alastor.
