First of all: Those aren't hands, those are paws. Secondly, when you got paws this big, you gotta learn how to use them gingerly.

Damn Alastor, why you gotta be 7'8" while Gloria is 5'3"????

I have a ton of headcanons on our favorite Radio Demon here, but we only have time for one. Considering his lonely life and how handsy he is, it's a safe bet that dear ol Alastor is severely touch-starved and of course, hasn't the opportunity to get physically close or affectionate with anyone.

I have a HC that when or if Alastor has a loved one, he has to be taught how to be gentle when physically showing affection like hugging because his hugs are strong enough to take your breath away, possibly crack a rib or two. Nonethless, not a very comfortable interaction. You bet I had to draw Gloria teaching Alastor how to be gentle because I'll be damned if I don't love me a nice soft and fluffy selfship drawing of these two!

Signal boost to all who selfship to this dude! You know who you are. Share with me your lovely soft headcanons! Or generally sweet/soft/angsty scenarios with this fella on teaching him the ways of love.

To begin, lemme just make a shout-out to @cyanideinsomnia and their fabulous little ship dynamic drawing they made directly above. I sure hope you don't mind, Cyanideinsomnia, but your ship dynamic doodle inspired me to draw this!

SO! This time around I wanted to bring out a more possessive, yandere-esque vibe with scary Alastor here. I headcanon that if he ever falls in love with anyone, he'd be very protective of them and def swing on the yandere side. Needless to say, I think I pulled it off pretty well. Poor Gloria seems to be a little frightened, however. She knows he wouldn't hurt her of course, but you cannot blame her for being a little scared.

So, when Gloria came down to hell, do you think the hazbin gang ran from her/ tried to attack her, thinking she was an exterminator?

Haha! Actually! I have that figured out with how that went down! You have no idea how thrilled I am that you asked!

So Gloria descended into hell as her bird form, breaking through the sky in a huge flash of light, on fire in the shape of a cross. So from a distance, she looked like a cross-shaped fireball and as her descent slowed, the fire dwindled to reveal her glowy bird form. This got a lot of attention, especially a staff. Gloria meanwhile......She didn't exactly come prepared soooo she had to fly around, looping and swooping around different places looking for the hotel for a bit......whiiiich caused....quite a upset with the denizens of Hell. She had a lot of people running/screaming/throwing things as she flew.

Charlie and the gang were standing outside watching this meanwhile, on the higher levels of the hotel, of course aghast and wondering what an angel was doing flying around in Hell and of course questioning her intentions. Not long after, Gloria, who was soaring up high to try and find the place, spotted Charlie, and, without thinking, took a sharp, intense dive toward her flying at high speed. Right before she could land by Charlie and ask her something, Vaggie immediately intercepted and pointed the spear in Glorias direction, causing her to come to a screeching halt and narrowly miss being impaled. In response to Vaggies defensive action, Gloria hovered there for a second staring at the spear slightly surprised, then perched at the tip of the spear, to walk down it to look at Vaggie face to face. Those two ended up locked in a 30 second stare-down, with Vaggie staring back intensely and defiantly but a bit shaky and unsure how to respond while Gloria had a sharp, yet lofty expression that was more evaluative than threatening. Charlie broke the awkward silence when she asked Vaggie if she was okay...that's when Gloria broke the stare and flew over to her, perched on something above her to look at her, then asked in a serious, slightly southern tone, "Are you Charlotte Magne?" And when Charlie nervously answered her question with a apprehensive, "Yes" Gloria was all, "Oh! Thank goodness! I have the right address!" In a less serious tone, then flew in front of her, shifted into her humanoid form, introduced herself and her reasons for being there and...the rest is history. Charlie was actually super psyched that a Angel was sent to help her out and that God himself took notice of her work and wants to support it.....plus she thought Gloria was so cute.

Vaggie on the other hand was not as trustworthy at first because.....well...considering it's angels that do the yearly cleasings so.....yep. Vaggie also wasn't thrilled with what looked like a hostile dive towards Charlie, but her seemingly threatening action wasn't out of malice. Gloria got a tad over-excited for seemingly finding the hotel after flying around for awhile looking for it. Misinterpretations sure are fun!

Angel Dust of course was.....himself, being a pain in the ass and talking all gross, and tried to push her buttons and see if she was like the "Stereotypical stuck up church woman" she wasn't and got annoyed about that and overall became annoyed with her presence.

Niffty was excited to meet her and actually vibed pretty well with Gloria, but that's because Gloria's reception was warm too and without judgement.

Alastor greeted her with warm, charismatic reception and actually found her adorable....but in a more patronizing way because he found it absolutely nonsensical and a waste of time that an Angel is bothering to try to waste her time and abilities to redeem such pathetic sinners. On a more casual level, he found her quite fascinating and observed her often.....but he had his fun by unnerving her too.

Husker didn't really care all that much, but he did give her ample warning to not try to force him to get clean from his booze problem.

I did an experiment on my oddly large collection of sharpie markers. Neons are the bomb let me tell ya! They are what make this Angel pop! I was heavily inclined to draw my HH insert, Gloria, ((She was sent by God to help Charlie redeem souls)) with creepy ol' Alastor here. He gets his kicks out of terrorizing the poor girl, but to him, it's all in good fun...............maybe? Whatever his intent, Gloria sure becomes on edge everytime he pulls this. Good sir, why must you terrorize angels?

There's unfortunately a disheartening story behind this drawing. So if you please read it to the very end, I would be grateful.

A music director at a church I would frequent for certain masses was fired from her job when it was found out that she was legally married with another woman. Words could not describe how upset I was. I knew this lady from some of these masses and at a retreat I went to. She was a wonderful soul, a very talented song writer, singer and a very well-rounded musician. It was seriously such a shame that the church would let her go like that. I pray she never loses her faith in God because He wasn't the one who failed her, it was the People who did. I hope she will get justice as well. This woman spread a lot of love and for them to remove her because of her legal marriage just isn't fair.

This being said, I decided to draw my Hazbin Insert, Gloria, who is a Powers Angel sent by God to help Charlie's cause, sit up top on Angel Dusts shoulders with a sign that says, God loves Gays, and you bet your ass he does!

This shout-out goes to all my LGBT folks out there. Despite what hateful religious nuts may say, I want you to know that God loves each and every one of you. Never ever believe any of the hateful squabble you may get flying your way. After all......

Those who use God to perpetuate hate haven't learned what he's truly about.
