*Sonic is holding his head, still dizzy* Wh- No!! Why is Shadow-? He didn't wanna come here, why is he.. Did someone tell him to save me? Because I swear- *He's cut off by Bean lunging at him with a net. Sonic dodges easily, but winces at the pain in his back and ribs* Shit..

*Elsewhere, in Sage and Cream's peaceful little bedroom, Sage's little brows furrow* Why would he do this? Is he not aware of the consequences of such an action? If he had only asked me, I would have been able to run the simulations and predict nothing but sadness from that decision...

That was the thing he was about to do with Espio before Sonic interrupted them (which is why the anon is upset)

*Espio climbs out of the hatch onto the roof, sticking to the metal with both his hands and feet. Nearby, Silver is using all of his strength to slow down the ship. He looks... Desperate. His face is wet from sweat and tears. Espio stands up and runs to him, yelling over the wind* SILVER!!

*Silver squeezes his eyes shut* I- I can't do it!! I'm not enough!!

*Espio steps closer, reaching out but not touching him in case it makes things worse* Yes you are!! You are strong, Silver!!

*Silver shakes his head, more tears rolling down his face as he speaks* No, I'm not!! I can't stop this thing!! We're gonna crash and it's gonna be all my fault!! I can't save everyone!! I should just give up!!

*Espio stares at him. He's never seen him like this before. Silver's hold on the ship begins to fade. His legs wobble. Espio grabs Silver's shoulders and pulls him close, capturing his lips in a kiss*

*Silver squeaks, his fur and quills fluffing up at the touch. He stares at Espio for a moment, then lets his eyes close. He wraps his arms around Espio, kissing him back as if it's the last time he'll ever get the chance*

*He doesn't want to, but Espio pulls away, looking into Silver's eyes for the first time since he got there* You can do this!!

*Silver stares at him for a moment, then nods* Okay!! *He uses his newfound smooch energy to grab the ship with his telekinesis, raising his hands as he lifts it. The lower end of the ship lifts, righting its position as it slows its descent into the water*

*Espio smiles, watching him. He did it*

*Inside the ship, Shadow and Sonic are arguing with Eggman* This would not have happened had you not kidnapped everyone in the first place!

Yes well I knew people would just leave, I couldn't let that happen!
