Character Profile: Hazel Adler

Hazel was a bit of a trainwreck.

She knew it. Her therapist knew it. Her only friend knew it. Her friend’s girlfriend knew it. Her co-workers knew it. Pretty much everybody who’s met her knew it. So, her new partner was most likely going to find out.

Which meant Hazel was completely fucked. Unless she managed to get her shit together in a span of a week.

10. What is a small thing that one another does to make their partner happy?

Emily is super happy whenever Peter brings her candy just because “oh I just bought an extra one and thought you might want it,” while Peter loves when Emily always waves excitedly to him when she sees him from across the room (its not big but the fact she always makes time to say hi to him even when she’s busy, it means a lot to him).

Clara is never going to be X-Men material, meaning she doesn't have the same morality the others have and doesn’t agree on everything they believe. So she’s definitely going to struggle when she’s with the X-Men and will stray more than a few times.

If they had a kid meme: Sirius/Evangeline

Okay, so this one was hard for me because (slight spoiler alert) I always intended for them to not have children. But you know, accidents happen.

Name: Ophelia Aurora Black-Pierce

Gender: Female

General Appearance: She has light gray eyes, and light brown hair just like her mother. While she leans a lot more towards her mother’s looks, some of her facial structures are very similar to her fathers.

Personality: She’s very bold and bright, and it takes a lot to scare her. She had a lot of nerve and doesn’t let anything stop her from achieving what she wants. She tries to stick to the sidelines to avoid getting unwanted attention but that doesn’t always work out with her very outgoing personality. 

Special Talents: She’s very good with animals, almost like she has a special bond with them and has expressed interest in pursuing a career involving them. Once she learned what an Animagi, Ophelia told her mom she wants to become one as soon as she is of age, which surprised Evangeline (and it honestly shouldn’t, seeing who Ophelia’s father is).

Who they like better: She prefers Evangeline, partially because she has spent more time with her than Sirius. They’re very close, being very open with each other and sharing many interests in common. Ophelia thinks highly of her mother a lot and often tries to imitate her.

Who they take after more: In looks, they basically could be the clone of Evangeline, but in personality its mixture of both. She has Evangeline’s hatred toward waking up early and bluntness. She’s inherited Sirius mischief, loyalty, and bravery. Evangeline wouldn’t be surprised if Ophelia would be sorted to Gryffindor.

Personal Headcanon: Sirius always made it clear he wanted to break his family tradition of naming their children after constellations, but with Evangeline’s love for astronomy, he allowed for the middle name. It took him a minute to realize that his daughter’s first name was also after a moon from one of the planets but he had grown to love that name, so he didn’t fight Evangeline about it.

Take Care by Beach House. Hazel heard it one time in a coffee shop and ever since then, she has not been able to find a song that has made her feel like that warm and loved like that song did. She would never admit it to anyone, but if she were to get married, that would be the song used in the first dance with her partner.
