Chapter Ten: Loyalty till Death
Life is difficult, Clara Welsh was well aware. But she was taught that there is always a silver lining in life. For her, it was her mutation. Although she didn't always saw her mutation in a positive light, Clara changed her mind when she realized what it made her. It made her special, different from everybody else, something that she always longed for.
But with her luck, Clara realized, it was also what could get her killed. Hiding her mutation has proven a challenge but she's managed... for most of her life. It isn't until she's put in a compromising position to do what's right or ensure her safety, Clara realizes both can cost her more than her life.

You’re spoiling me. Let’s go with my favorite, queen of my heart and soul, the one and only, Clara Welsh.

Character Profile: Clara Welsh
Clara could hear them whisper about her, arguing that she was a liability, that she was a traitor, that was a child, the she was not good enough. This and that. This and that. There was always something wrong with her.
It didn’t matter if she had heard it her entire life, it always filled her with drowning frustration that she was nothing but a pawn that got pushed around to benefit the others and when they were done with her, acted as if she didn’t exist.
Which is probably why she found herself in her current situation: captured and locked. Maybe she had brought this upon herself. After all, they could call her useless in front of her face and she still always did what she was ordered to do.
But despite her dire situation, she wasn’t frustrated or upset. She was livid. All her pent up anger that had been building for every insult, every injury, every restraint was gone. All that was left was this buning anger, and in that moment, there was nothing holding her back from showing them what she truly capable of.
Aesthetic: Clara Welsh (Wasn’t Supposed to Be)
“I will not speak of your sin There was no way out for him The mirror shows not Your values are all shot
But oh, my heart was flawed I knew my weakness So hold my hand Consign me not to darkness...”
