i honestly think you were the first black cosplayer that ive seen ngl (like i remember that cosplay tiktok group doing fun things together n they were all white n i was like,, i mean they cant help the fact theyre white but are u rly telling me that there were NO poc that couldve joined in on this collab video thing).

also dont forget some ppl whitewashing black performers when they do make fanart of them

Yep, the blog isn’t showing up in search or anything else, and even manually typing the url on my desktop leads to a “there’s nothing here” so I think you successfully chased the ignorance away

it's even worse in american catholic school - you stand to pray and do the pledge before listening to morning announcements. at my school on thursdays they'd have choir girls sing the school's prayer, so it ate up a solid 5-10 minutes of class time. I was very much Not Catholic and stayed seating during most of it until the judgmental glares got me to stand and just not participate in the gestures

i cant imagine going to a religious american school (whilst being non-religious). my school mornings consisted of getting to school for 8:40 where we sat in our form rooms for half an hour until 9:10 when we started class. what did we do for that half hour? entirely depended on the day it was usually just gossiping but we definitely did not pray nor talk to a flag.
