So recently I've been obsessed with the idea of what happened back when Caul was young and was sailing with Cavendish so... have a young twenty-something years old Langdon and all the expressions he goes through whenever Cavendish starts acting up.

Y'all, why am I obsessed with minor characters? Like... among the main gang Abe's my favorite and I relate to every single version of him so I guess it makes sense that I find Caul just as interesting as Abe (plus I still want to see the bullshit he used to get up to back in the fish cult) and of course, our lovely Edith who deserved better (either a happy endint or someone slapping some sense into her stupid husband) but Cavendish... I mean, he served his purpose back in "Seed of Destruction" and that's all, but ever since I read he had been traveling with Caul ever since the man was young I've been wanting to know more of the bastard...

In other words now I want a series on whatever the fuck Caul and Cavendish were doing back in the day and I somehow want Edith to be included even if it doesn't make sense with the timeline... We don't even know how old she was...

Back with the bullshit: Hellboy but it's a college AU, everyone is human and the most paranormal thing is halloween's movie night, like... the plot is just the main trio bitching about class and nerding out...

HEAR ME OUT AND BEAR WITH ME CAUSE I'M ABOUT TO GET META: Hellboy AU where the comics are like... a tv show or something, and everyone's just actors, and the main reason is to draw everyone doing behind the scenes shenanigans... like... Del Toro movies and reboot still exist but it's like... "we wanted to make a movie but the actors are too busy so we gonna make an alternative universe with a different cast and all" kind of situation...

So I been recently writting of fanfic involving characters with very little information (Caul, Edith, Cavendish...) but now the thing is... I'm starting to overanalize them because of the lack of information, look, I'm not saying all characters should have a full on biography but I would like to know more for fanfic purposes, you know, the one we know the most about is Caul and the only things we know are the one that are relevant for Abe's story, other than that I'd say there's not much about him other than victorian cultist jerk, also, I may or may not be overanalizing every single detail of them just for the sake of fanfic, so far it feels like I'm trying to diagnose Edith with multiple mental disorders, trying to find out why Caul ended up being the way he is and slowly but surely turning Cavendish into a fabulous gay icon...
