A Birthday Live from our Park Filter

Oct. 13th is finally wrapping up in my timezone (I will take advantage of birthdays for the tannies spanning multiple days, thank you very much) We got a live, we got some photo dumps, and we got a lot of unloved losers crashing out-but what else is new. 30 years of Jimin and he came to visit us and thank us for the birthday wishes looking like a freshly hatched baby bird in his beanie and adorable fake glasses. He spoke to us in that quiet, soft and careful voice he has and answered so many questions patiently and sometimes playfully.

Jimin is naturally a little shy when it's just him and army. This isn't new and it's the reason he called jk to join him those years ago for another birthday live (one I consider my jikook awakening tbh that was monumental for me) but thinking back on his live with jk in LA, the way he just lights up with him feels so special. He's energetic and boisterous and happy enough to sometimes let a crass joke or two slip by. He's equally smily and talkative and goofy with the rest of his members as well, but the lives he shares with jk feel different somehow. Happy, giggly and tender.

The way he lit up when he shared his story of running with jk in the military. The way his whole body was telling the story of the run the two took together, listening to the OST of one of both of their favorite movies, the blatantly romantic undercurrent of rounding a corner and locking eyes with someone as the music hits its peak.....like, damn! Okay!! And we got a confirmation of AYS 2 shortly before. What a live.

And of course this caused taekookers and solos alike to throw a monumental fit. I swear, they take the boyfriend allegations more seriously than anyone with how much effort they put into being pissed off about a real story of two people they think are just friends sharing a run or traveling together. He talked about how busy he and the members are recently. Tae recently has been showing us his crazy sleep schedule with his late dinners and getting home from work in the early morning hours. Jimin alluded to this too- everyone has their separate schedules and he didn't get the chance to see anyone for his birthday but he celebrated with his parents the day before. As a fellow 30 something year old, it's not that rare to not be able to see your friends or loved ones on your actual birthday day because everyones got jobs and their own lives, and I can only imagine the level of grind the boys are on with next spring getting closer and closer. But, he did answer a question from the chat about not meeting Jungkook yet. Did the all nighter friends have plans later that night? I hope Jimin had a good day even if he doesn't see his birthday as very meaningful. I hope we see him soon (I think we will, somethings coming, I feel it in my left tit) and I hope he continues to be surrounded by those he trusts and loves and who make him happy!
