I’m gonna write this into my fic series I think but new concept for all the girlies who love watcher grian

The ocean is nearly as vast as the void. Grian is taking any anger and frustration out on the ocean. But it also feels like home to him.

im finally watching hermitcraft s8 after reading no small quantity of hermit!tommy fics, and after watching grian get distracted no fewer than 5 times all while trying to complete One (1) task I have come to the conclusion that c!grian is adhd

but now consider, grian with adhd that has not been medicated cause it never really got in the way on hermitcraft. the chaos is a normal part of their daily routine and so what if it took longer than most for him to finish his builds who cares its not like they have a deadline theyre all just having fun

but then the hermits adopt tommy, who also has adhd, but his is medicated cause even if wilbur was a bit irresponsible when it came to taking care of children (coughthelmanbergwarcough) he was certainly smart enough to figure out meds for tommys adhd to help his little brother out.

so tommy runs out of his adhd meds in hermitcraft, and having noticed grian's adhd as well goes to ask grian where he can get a refill on meds. and grian just,, looks at him. "what meds?"

"you know, adhd meds, little potions to help with this stuff?"

"there's a potion for that?"

at this point grian is thoroughly confused and so is tommy and he just sighs and asks if they have brewing stands and ingredients, cause wilbur taught him to make his own meds just in case he needed a refill while wilbur was busy. tommy never thought he'd need to know, but after pogtopia... well, you get the picture.

so grian shows him where to get the stuff and tommy sets up his little brewing stand in his cobblestone tower and starts making microdoses of something similar to a speed potion. When he's done with that he packs up a batch of the meds in a shulker and brings them to grian.

"you drink one of 'em in the morning and it makes ur brain calmer for a while. helpful in getting shit done."

and, well, its not like it's hurt to try it, right? so grian drinks one the next morning before he heads out to work on a new project.

He gets distracted way less. Actually, this project was pretty small, he might even finish it ahead of schedule. And, well, the sun's started setting but he's almost done with this bit here and he may as well just finish the whole thing-

Eventually the boatem crew realizes they haven't seen hide nor hair of grian all day which isnt necessarily a bad thing but it is unusual and it wouldn't hurt to check on him.

They find him putting the finishing touches on a build. Grian sees them and lights up, waving them over to very excitedly show them the build. They get a full walk around and almost miss his jokes about some detailing because the back of the build is done.

"Oh! Let me show you the inside!" and then Grian is dragging them inside his build, and it's actually been built. There is no wide-open empty space. Grian actually has floors and lights hanging from the ceiling and plants in the corners and paintings on the walls. Grian is incredibly proud of himself for finishing a build so quickly, and Tommy is incredibly proud of having helped his friend.
