Okay I’m thinking more and more about a severance au but grian being the main character is low hanging fruit. Ugh!!! I need opinions bc I have too many thoughts… PLS HELP

The characters wouldn’t be the exact same role as their show equivalent but for the dynamic of “can live withstand severance?”

Option 1: Grian as Mark equivalent, Mumbo as Helly, Scar as Ms. Casey (Science lab setting)

Option 2: pearl as mark equivalent, ??? as helly, gem as ms. Casey (Post office setting)

Option 3: etho as mark, Joel as helly, bdubs as ms Casey (???? Setting)

Option 4: skizz as mark, ??? As helly, impulse as Ms Casey (phasmo/repo setting)

Full transparency I don’t remember where I even left off on my life series fic or if I want to continue it. I barely have touch my stardew fic. I’m actively working on a fic that won’t get posted here (it’s for a specific fandom discord). But I miss AO3. It’s almost summer and my summer job is odd at scheduling so I’ll probably have a lot of writing time and I’ll being living alone like I was when I started hermit/empire fics soooooo fingers crossed.

the way that irving and helly's body language INSTANTLY switched from conflict to comfort as soon as helena switched out was INSANE. he cradled her so fiercely AND SHE CLUNG BACK. irving knew he wasnt going to come back from that, but helly was worth more to him than his life was at that point. all she knows is that she's cold and wet and that irving was there, and of course irving wouldnt hurt her, so she embraces him back! anyway they love each other theyre family and i need to bite something
