I like to think that Zane can control the temperature of the immediate area around him/the room he stands in. For the most part, he was always capable of cooling a room down without the need to physically present ice in the room to do so. It's what he does to his internal systems to prevent itself from overheating, but to an amplified degree. It's perfect for the summer weather and the air conditioning is out.

That said, he is prone to also dropping the room's temperature in extreme distress if not mentally aware of it post season 11. Typically this is when the anxiety in him gets the better of him or angry. Crystallization is imminent as the room grows colder, as it is a lasting effect on Zane since being exposed to the forbidden spinjitsu scroll for several decades. As the Ice Emperor, he deliberately caused an entire realm to experience an eternal winter, but now that he is back to himself, he is aware of the range this ability has, but doesn't always have full control of it anymore.

Zane does have separation anxiety and I cannot stress that fact enough. While it's always sort of been there since the beginning, it has increased greatly since he was sent to the Never Realm for decades. While he has the capacity to contain himself for a while, he does get genuinely distressed when he's away from/not in contact with the people he loves for too long (especially so for significant others). Oftentimes, if bad enough, he will dampen his emotions so that it doesn't begin to deteriorate his mental state. While this sort of experience is the most prominent with his family (the ninja) and Pixal, it may present itself in the presence of other friends as well the more he grows attached to them.

I think you could absolutely fool him with the breaking ur spine prank where u get ur partner to help pop ur back but u have a pasta in your mouth and crunch it as they do that. But you also face the sudden worry Zane has over examining you to make sure he didn't just like outright paralyze you (robo strength is no joke /j)

Zane has the ability to be very intricate with his ice designs, but it does take more time and effort to do so. His creations can be something rudimentary but sturdy to make a bridge, walls, basic objects etc, but with a bit of calculating, designing, and time, Zane can create things like ice sculptures with incredible details similar to a professional sculptor.

He can also make snow, but again, takes a little more time an effort as snow is several, miniscule ice crystals that are not immediately bound together like regular ice is. Sometimes it's fun to make a little snow day and make little snowmen when you're bored out of your mind and it's very much not the winter yet. This is a little more of a hit or miss purely based on the humidity of where he is. If the air is mostly dry, it gets harder for him to create something like that out of practically nothing. If it's raining, well, he can certainly make an abundance of snow instead of rain (or hail if he was facing enemies-).
